  • Patent number: 11960435
Abstract: A semiconductor package for skew matching in a die-to-die interface, including: a first die; a second die aligned with the first die such that each connection point of a first plurality of connection points of the first die is substantially equidistant to a corresponding connection point of a second plurality of connection points of the second die; and a plurality of connection paths of a substantially same length, wherein each connection path of the plurality of connection paths couples a respective connection point of the first plurality of connection points to the corresponding connection point of the second plurality of connection points.

  • Patent number: 11525456
Abstract: An axial fan has an inner-rotor motor which includes a drive end, a non-drive end and a shaft which extends axially from the drive end; and an impeller which includes a cylindrical impeller cup and a number of impeller blades that extend radially from the impeller cup. The impeller cup has an open upstream end and a closed downstream end which is connected to the shaft. In operation, the motor spins the impeller to generate an airflow in a direction from the non-drive end of the motor to the drive end of the motor. The impeller cup is configured to receive the motor therein and surround the drive end of the motor but not the non-drive end of the motor. As a result, the non-drive end of the motor is exposed to the airflow during operation of the fan.

  • Publication number: 20220280235
Abstract: A catheter includes proximal and distal sections, a shaft coupled between the proximal and distal sections, and optical fibers extending through the shaft and to the distal section of the catheter. The distal section includes a support structure that includes a proximal end, a distal end, reflective elements, and a cap disposed over a portion of the distal end of the support structure. The proximal end includes alignment receptacles. Each of the optical fibers is inserted into corresponding ones of the alignment receptacles and the alignment receptacles are shaped to maintain the optical fibers straight in the support structure. The distal end includes orifices facing different directions. Each of the optical fibers is optically aligned with corresponding ones of the lenses, reflective elements, and orifices such that the optical fibers in the support structure are straight. The cap includes optical ports aligned with the orifices.

  • Publication number: 20220197600
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms providing a mode of random number generation to satisfy a requirement for a consumer of random numbers. In an embodiment, a device comprises a Gaussian random number generator (GRNG) circuit, multiple uniform random number generator URNG circuits, and circuitry which is coupled between the GRNG circuit and the URNG circuits. Based on an indication of one or more required performance characteristics and/or one or more required statistical characteristics, a controller identifies a corresponding one of multiple available random number generation (RNG) modes. The controller communicates control signals to provide the mode with the circuitry. In another embodiment, the control signals configure the circuitry to select one or more of the URNG circuits for use in calculating random numbers with the GRNG circuit.

  • Patent number: 10917334
Abstract: Technologies are provided for expanding computer network route advertisements. A route expansion server can be configured to receive route advertisements from a router, generate an expanded route advertisement that includes additional network route information, and transmit the expanded route advertisement to another router. The route expansion server can receive a route advertisement from a network zone edge router, comprising a network address prefix. The route expansion server can look up one or more additional network address prefixes associated with the edge router and generate an expanded route advertisement message that indicates that the edge router is a potential next hop for the network address prefix and the one or more additional network address prefixes. The route expansion server can transmit the expanded route advertisement message to another router. In at least some embodiments, the route expansion server can generate different expanded route advertisement messages for different routers.
