Publication number: 20210081651Abstract: An Artificial Intelligence system that may reside inside a mobile software application that uses the latest face recognition algorithms to organize photos on the phone in the picture gallery based on faces. It then analyzes photos in the phone contacts and matches the photos in the phone contacts with the photos in the picture gallery. When a match is detected, the photos are tagged with the phone number/contact from the phone contacts. This way photos on the phone are tagged with the phone number of the person in the photo. If there are multiple people in the picture, each person's face is tagged with their respective phone number. If there is no photo associated with a contact, then the user has the ability to tag the photo manually. Clicking on the tag option, pulls up the phone contact list and the user can only assign tags to photos from their contacts.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 8, 2020Publication date: March 18, 2021Inventor: David Gorodyansky

Patent number: 9807100Abstract: System protects user's data on social networking websites by creating a data filter, which operates between the user and the social networks accessed by the user. The filter may be deployed as a user's web browser plug-in and operates in the following way. First, the filter encrypts all or some information that is posted by the user on a social network using SSL encryption technology. Second, to enable select other users of the social networking site to view the encrypted information, the instances of the filter executing on the accessing users' computers verify whether these users have access permission from the owner of the content and, if so, use the decryption key to decrypt the private data and enable the users to view it. The decryption key may be automatically passed to the instances of the filter running on the accessing users' computers. In an alternative implementation, the encryption and access control may be performed by a security/privacy mediator deployed on the network.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2011Date of Patent: October 31, 2017Assignee: ANCHORFREE, INC.Inventor: David Gorodyansky

Patent number: 9633360Abstract: The inventive technology enables the search engine operator to charge the advertisers who place their links on the search engine only if the user uses the search results to visit the advertiser's web portal(s) and generates revenue for the advertiser. This concept is especially attractive to the advertisers because it eliminates the risk, which the advertisers face in conventional search engines, when they are changed by the search engine per user click irrespectively of whether the user's visit resulted in advertiser's revenue.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2013Date of Patent: April 25, 2017Assignee: Anchorfree Inc.Inventor: David Gorodyansky

Patent number: 9626683Abstract: An implementation of the inventive concept enables an outside entity to alter user's internet experience on a system-wide level. Specifically, inventive system enables a merchant, a distributor or any other entity to send contextually-relevant messages directly to the user's computer. Upon the receipt of the messages by the controller application residing on the user's computer, the messages are shown to the user by being incorporated into representation of various resources viewed by the user. For example, the received messages are incorporated into web pages viewed by the user by means of code injection. This way, the merchant, distributor or any other entity may provide targeted advertising to the user in a contextually relevant manner. Specifically, the controller application residing on the user's computer may detect requests for specific resources issued by the user in accordance with a predetermined criteria and incorporate the aforesaid received messages into those selected resources.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2007Date of Patent: April 18, 2017Assignee: ANCHORFREE, INC.Inventors: David Gorodyansky, Scott Lewis

Patent number: 9553926Abstract: System enables users to surf the web and engage in social networking interaction through a downloadable peer-to-peer client that stores all user's private information locally on the user's computer. System establishes communication between the computers of multiple users participating in social interaction without having to store users' personal information on central servers. All user data, including, without limitation, pictures, ideas, personal information and communications with friends is maintained locally on the user's own computer and the social communication takes place between two or more users' computers. This provides the users with greater control over the dissemination of their personal information. In addition, the system randomly selects peer-to-peer social networking clients that are online at any given time and enable such clients to randomly and automatically connect with one another.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2014Date of Patent: January 24, 2017Assignee: Anchorfree, Inc.Inventor: David Gorodyansky

Patent number: 9384463Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing a web browser which operates to secure all Internet connections of the user using SSL and HTTPS protocols. One implementation is a browser that operates to send all browser navigation commands and send and receive all web traffic through SSL encryption tunnel. In other words, the browser turns all web pages that support only HTTP protocol into HTTPS-enabled web pages. As would be appreciate by those of skill in the art, the use of the SSL and HTTPS secures the user's connection and provides security for user's data. The system may be used to secure email communications, login information for websites, selection of shopping items and all other online activity of the user. All of the above information is encrypted by the inventive system using highly-secure SSL encryption.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2011Date of Patent: July 5, 2016Assignee: Anchorfree, Inc.Inventor: David Gorodyansky

Patent number: 9203810Abstract: Web-based VPN system and corresponding service. The inventive web VPN system/service could be accessed by the users using only a conventional web browser without the need to install any specialized VPN client software on the user terminal, as it is the case with conventional VPN systems. User's terminal could be a user's desktop computer, notebook or a mobile device, such as a cell prone or a PDA, or any other computing platform what so ever, used by the user to access various network resources, such as web pages. One aspect is a web VPN service that encrypts, using, for example, SSL encryption, all web traffic going between the user's terminal and the Internet. System comprises a VPN server/proxy and an associated web server accessible by the user via a communication network, such as Internet.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2011Date of Patent: December 1, 2015Assignee: Anchorfree Inc.Inventor: David Gorodyansky

Publication number: 20130263230Abstract: Multiple-choice survey is used to increase probability that action is caused by a human user, not by an automated software script. Survey contains some answers that no human user would select, but also more than one correct answer. The answer selected by the user from many correct answers is used as an indication of interest to related subject and/or to display related advertisement. Multiple multi-choice surveys can be presented to the same user over time, to decrease probability of a robot randomly selecting correct answers.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 18, 2013Publication date: October 3, 2013Applicant: ANCHORFREE INC.Inventors: DAVID GORODYANSKY, EUGENE LAPIDOUS
