Abstract: A mobile skating aid apparatus for supporting a skater stationed inside and, optionally, an attendant stationed outside of the apparatus at the rear to push from behind and monitor the skater. The apparatus comprises support members for the skater to grasp for support and to propel and steer the apparatus, a horizontally-positioned stabilizing beam which the skater straddles in order to provide a seat for the skater to sit upon in situations where the skater loses footing and which transforms into a more comfortable bench for resting or for changing footwear. At least one gliding or rolling element is also provided to enable the apparatus to move along a surface. The apparatus may also further comprise side rails which serve both to stabilize the apparatus and to further protect the skater against falls as well as collisions.

Abstract: On a persistent storage device, a database of contracts is maintained. The database has at least one record for each of the contracts. The at least one record for each of the contracts includes at least one field comprising a corresponding contract end date. At a computer processor in communication with the persistent storage device, at least one user query is obtained. Responsive to the at least one user query, a signal is generated with the computer processor to cause a display device to display a histogram of the corresponding contract end date for at least one of the contracts.

Abstract: Embodiments provide techniques for customers to easily, quickly and remotely manage their virtual data centers. Using, for example, a “single pane of glass” GUI view which shows all of the components (including e.g., machines (cpu and RAM), network services (load balancers, firewalls, network address translation, IP management) and storage) of their virtual data centers, provides a complete overview and a starting point for system or component management. According to embodiments, a Roles Based Access Control (RBAC) system is provided which simulates the organizational structure and workflow of a typical IT department to enable workflow management via the GUI for any component or function of a customer's virtual data center.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include a method for separating a product comprising a super absorbent polymer, a fiber and a plastic to separate the product into components thereof, the method comprising adding water to the product, and pressing the product in order to separate the product into components comprising a plastics component and a super absorbent polymer and fiber component. Other methods of the present disclosure include a method for producing a reusable plastic, reusable paper fiber stream and a reusable super absorbent polymer from the treatment of a product comprising a super absorbent polymer, a fiber and a plastic. Still other embodiments of the present disclosure include a method for the treatment of wet super absorbent polymer, comprising salt assisted dehydration.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for modifying a three-phase power distribution network in a building in order to provide data communication by using a Power Line Carrier (PLC) signal to an approximate electrical central location point of the power distribution system remote from the data entry point of the building. A passive coupler device is attached to a centrally located service panel. The passive coupler receives the Power Line Carrier (PLC) signal from the remote entry point in the building and conditions the signal for entry at the service panel onto each phase of the three phase power distribution network.
