Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing security in a multitenant application server environment. In accordance with an embodiment, per-partition security configuration includes: per-partition security realm (including configuration for authentication, authorization, credential mapping, auditing, password validation, certificate validation, and user lockout); SSL configuration, including keys, certificates, and other configuration attributes; and access control for partition and global resources. An administrator can designate one or more partition users as partition administrators, via grant of roles.

Abstract: A two-part dispensing device for a pool having a dispensing saddle with a static port therein for continual delivery of a first dispersant and a hold for floatingly supporting itself and an exchangeable dispensing pod therein with the dispensing pod having a dynamic port and a static port for a continual delivery of a dispersant wherein the static port delivery of a dispersant maintains the pool at a safe level when there is no human bather load on the pool and the condition of the disperant in the dispensing pod can be determined by the orientation of the dispensing saddle and the dispensing pod in the pool.

Abstract: A chair is provided with a seat, a chair back control unit, a chair back, and two armrest units. The chair back is pivotally coupled to the seat by sleeving the engaging portions of the seat onto the clamp members of the chair back. The assembling of the chair back onto the seat can be easily done by the actions of inserting and clamping, so that the assembly operation is quick and easy without using any screws, and therefore the assembly cost is reduced. Furthermore, the angle and height of the armrest units can be easily adjusted, and the chair back is foldable. With the abovementioned structural arrangements, the number of the parts of the chair is substantially reduced.

Abstract: A chair with a hip-shaping seat is provided with a base, a seat and two elastic members. The seat is formed by two seat members, and on the top of each of the seat members is formed an arc-shaped surface. The two seat members are pivoted connected at one end, and are capable of opening and closing at another end, so that the width of the seat space can also be adjusted to fit different sized hips, through pivoting of the seat members. Hence, the chair of the present invention is capable of effectively holding the hip and preventing the hip from sagging.

Abstract: A spring biased tourniquet can be placed on the exterior of a patient's appendage, such as on his or her arm. The spring tourniquet will exert pressure on the appendage to constrict and artery or dilate vein. Terminal ends of the spring member can be pulled apart to either reduce pressure or to disengage the patient's appendage. This spring biased tourniquet is especially suited for use in a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) procedure where the tourniquet can be placed on the exterior of a surgical drape, where it remains visible, and pressure can be reduced to avoid thrombosis without compromising the sterile barrier surrounding the patient during this procedure.

Abstract: A system and method for providing an in-memory data grid application container, for use with an application server, is described herein. In accordance with an embodiment, an application server, such as WebLogic Server (WLS), can be used to host data grid applications, such as Coherence applications (in which case the application container can be referred to as a Coherence container), and deliver the same benefits that regular Java Enterprise Edition (EE) applications derive from being hosted in a WLS environment. A model for creating combined Java EE and data grid applications can also be provided, by merging the programming, packaging, and deployment models used for data grid with existing Java EE models.

The method includes triggering an image scan of at least a lung cross-section of a patient, scanning the lung cross-section during at least one of an inspiration and an expiration of air by the patient to obtain lung image data and measuring a lung function during at least one of an inspiration and an expiration of air by the patient to obtain lung function data. The method may also include performing a preview scan of the patient to identify the lung cross-section for imaging. Additionally, the lung image data and lung function data may be combined for use in diagnosis of the patient. The lung image data and lung function data may also be output. The method may further include processing the lung function data to generate a plot of lung attenuation versus time.
