  • Publication number: 20240136781
Abstract: An RF connector is provided. The RF connector includes a first outer contactor, an outer sleeve in contact with the first outer contactor, an outer spring in contact with the first outer contactor and configured to resist axial translation of the first outer contactor with respect to the outer sleeve, a first inner contactor, an inner sleeve in contact with the first inner contactor, and an inner spring in contact with the first inner contactor and configured to resist axial translation of the first inner contactor with respect to the inner sleeve. The RF connector is configured to be removably coupled between a first board and a second board when axially compressed between the first and second boards, and a resistance to the axial compression provided by the outer spring and the inner spring holds the RF connector in place with respect to the first and second boards.

  • Publication number: 20200401988
Abstract: A clothing rack has a first rail and a second rail extending upwards from an integral floor support member. A housing is moveably attached to the first rail and to the second rail using two housing support members. A storage member is integrally attached between the first rail and the second rail. The housing has a plurality of visual indicators located on it for indicating the location of garments on a storage member disposed underneath it. A computer system and associated database facilitates the entry of new customer information, the movement of an item within the business operations to process the customer order and the delivery thereof. Various implementations of multiple combination of EzSort Systems are presented.

  • Patent number: 8571971
Abstract: A management system and method for a credit decision-making process. The system and method provide access to an automatically generated and updated status report providing information about conditions required for final credit approval. The status report is available via computer systems used by parties to the credit decision-making process, such as the potential borrower, the creditor, and a business partner working with the potential borrower and creditor. Notifications of changes to the status report and/or updated status reports are automatically provided to the parties via the computer systems. In some embodiments, a request for the current status report can be requested in response to the notification. The system and method also include the capability to access dates scheduled for fulfilling the conditions for final credit approval and to allow requests for changes to the scheduled dates. Notifications of requests for date changes can be automatically provided to all parties needing the information.

  • Patent number: 8172516
Abstract: A variable geometry turbine comprises a turbine wheel (9) supported in a housing (1) for rotation about an axis. A nozzle ring (5) is moveably mounted within a cavity (19) provided within the housing for adjustment of the width of an annular inlet passageway (4) extending radially inwards towards the turbine wheel (9). An array of inlet guide vanes (8) extends between a radial face of the nozzle ring (5) and an opposing wall of the inlet (4) defining a radial vane passage. A first circumferential array of apertures (25) is provided through the radial face, each of which lies substantially within the vane passage. A second circumferential array of apertures (24) is also provided in said radial face, each of lies substantially upstream or downstream of the first array (25) of apertures. The inlet (4) and cavity (19) are in fluid communication via both the first and second sets of apertures (25,24).

  • Publication number: 20100049491
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of biology. In particular, the invention relates to a method and system for designing optimized multi-epitope vaccines having selected combinations of amino acid insertions at the junctions of the multi-epitope constructs so as to minimize the number of junctional epitopes and provide vaccines with increased immunogenicity.

  • Publication number: 20030217623
Abstract: A skateboard tool kit which is easily carried. The kit has a tool-conforming container with a body containing 1 tools and a snap secured cover. It is vertically disposed and is generally elongate in cross section with a narrowed neck. An extension “L”-shaped wrench has at one end a socket drive for hex sockets and at the other end a hexagonal insert which fits hexagonal cavity within a wrench receiver tower extending upward into the container, supporting two hex sockets. The extension wrench hexagonal insert is inserted into the hexagonal cavity, making the container useful as a wrench handle. The outer side of the neck portion of the container has dimples formed therein to provide for a good grip by the user. An “L”-shaped combination wrench is of hexagonal stock and has a Phillips head screwdriver head and an Allen key head.

  • Patent number: 6562885
Abstract: A substance capable of devitalizing hazardous biological agents and deactivating hazardous chemical agents comprising an activated anion exchange resin having a particle size substantially in the range of about 0.1-300 microns, which resin particles have been iodinated by exposure to a sufficient amount of an iodine-substance absorbable by the anion exchange resin such that the resin particles absorb the iodine-substance so as to convert the resin particles into activated resin particles. The iodine-substance may be selected from the group consisting of I2 (i.e., diatomic iodine), and polyiodide ions having a valence of −1. The activated resin particles may be placed into contact with the biological or chemical agent as a dry aerosol, by dust coating, or by admixing the particles with a carrier to form a coating.

  • Patent number: 6279434
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a tool for use on a skateboard and easily carried in a pants pocket of a user. The tool has a body is in the general shape of a “T” having a crossbar bisected by a stem and provides for three sockets of differing sizes, one of each being mounted at each end of the crossbar and the free end of the stem. Provision is also made for carrying a combination Allen key and Phillips head screwdriver and is in the general form of a standard Allen wrench having a long arm and a short arm normal to the long arm. This provision constitutes a cylindrical cavity with an opening at the intersection of the crossbar and stem and extending into the stem for distance adequate to accommodate the long arm of the combination Allen key and Phillips head screwdriver, which preferably is the Phillips head portion.
