A labeling of the substrate is carried out by applying the same print medium to result in a different color shade of the printed layer.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for identifying, monitoring, and sharing vehicle information amongst sensors. In some implementations, a system includes a central server and a plurality of sensors. The plurality of sensors are positioned in a fixed location relative to a roadway. Each sensor in the plurality of sensors is configured to: detect vehicles in a first field of view on the roadway. For each detected vehicle, each sensor is configured to identify features of the detected vehicle and perform operations for each feature. The operations include generating feature data representing the feature, generating a unique identification of the detected vehicle from the detected vehicles by concatenating the feature data representing the identified features of the detected vehicle, and adding the unique identification to a list.

The log data can be transformed into metric data, which can be used to generate statistics, graphs, and generally monitor the customer's virtual machine instances. Once a customer has started monitoring log files, the customer can be notified that an actionable condition can exist, such as an alarm condition wherein metrics exceeded acceptable limits. A customer can interactively select a timeframe of a metric and request that the log data that generated the metric be presented on the display. An automated system retrieves the source-level log data in real-time upon receiving a request from a user.

The directional focus navigation engine may receive directional input for changing the input focus of a user interface object in the user interface. A target candidate selector may select target candidates in a direction of travel among one or more user interface objects for receiving the input focus. A target candidate scorer may score the target candidates selected and the directional focus navigation engine may change the input focus to user interface object based upon the scoring. Scoring the target candidates may be biased when navigation continues in the same traversal direction for changing input focus.

Abstract: A laser-based refractive surgery system includes a laser source including a laser controller, wherein at least a portion of the incident beam is directed to target eye tissue of a patient. The incident beam portion produces a reflected beam after striking the eye tissue. The system includes at least one detector for detecting the reflected beam. A computer or data processor is communicably coupled to the detector and the laser controller. The computer or data processor generates a cross-correlation function using a plurality of discrete points which digitally represent a waveform representation of the reflected beam and a plurality of reference points. The reference points are preferably associated with a digital representation of the incident beam. The laser controller receives and utilizes the cross-correlation function or parameter derived therefrom, or the ablation rate, and adjusts at least one operating parameter of the laser beam in real-time during a refractive procedure.

Abstract: An animal containment device that includes a top wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and at least one side wall. In one aspect, the device may also include an opening in the rear wall for insertion of a monitoring module for monitoring the animals within the device. In another aspect, the animal containment device may include walls made from a translucent material having a photosensitive material for controlling the amount of light within the animal containment device. In still another aspect, the animal containment device may include one or more sensors in the device and a monitoring linkage and display for displaying the data from the sensors.
