  • Patent number: 10911873
Abstract: An audio device includes an audio output, a single controller, and a processor. The audio output is operable to output at a volume level. The controller is operable to receive a command from a user. The processor is operable to process the received command to provide one of multiple audio control functions that control the audio output. The multiple audio control functions include: a play mode, a pause mode, and a volume change mode. One of the multiple audio control functions is selected in response to comparing a pressing time of the controller with a first predetermined time period. The audio output is operable to output at a volume level during the play mode, to mute during the pause mode, and to the output volume level to be adjusted during the volume change mode.

  • Patent number: 10573471
Abstract: A circuit for controlling electric load(s) includes two smart switches connected in a three-way circuit configuration. Each of the two smart switches includes a first and second input terminals configured to receive an AC power. The switch also includes a first and second output terminals configured to provide the AC power to an electric load, and further includes a relay configured to selectively couple the first input terminal to the first output terminal or the second output terminal, and a controller configured to control the coupling of the relay. The switch includes a first AC/DC converter and a second AC/DC converter. The first and second AC/DC converters are configured to selectively receive the AC power from the corresponding first or second output terminal that is selectively coupled with the first input terminal and to provide a DC power to the controller.

  • Patent number: 7023883
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing synthesized clock synchronization reference signals in an asynchronous packet based network. Specifically, the present invention pertains to a method of using a timing reference signal as a synchronization reference for a synthesized signal of the same frequency for the purpose of providing synchronous analog communications, such as Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP). More specifically, the invention transmits reference signals in Ethernet packets which are then used by recipient devices to synthesize timing signals for synchronization purposes.
