  • Patent number: 11531128
Abstract: A method for seismic imaging includes receiving a multi-shot seismic data set that was collected using one or more streamers having recorders configured to detect seismic waves that propagate through a subterranean domain. The method also includes partitioning the multi-shot seismic data set into windows including a source dimension. The method also includes defining one or more first basis functions that describe the windows of the multi-shot seismic data set. The method also includes generating a model that describes a decomposition of the multi-shot seismic data set using the one or more first basis functions. The method also includes defining one or more second basis functions that describe a selected output data. The method also includes combining the one or more second basis functions with the model to produce a result for a source side wavefield and a receiver side wavefield.

  • Publication number: 20200391255
Abstract: There is provided a conduit cleaner including an elongate body. The cleaner includes at least one vane coupled to and extending radially outwards from a longitudinal axis of the elongate body. The at least one vane has a distal end portion shaped to abut against and clean an inner surface of a conduit. According to a second aspect, there is provided a conduit cleaner including an elongate body. The cleaner includes a plurality of turbines rotatably coupled to the elongate body. Each turbine includes at least one vane extending outwards from a longitudinal axis of the elongate body. The vanes have distal end portions shaped to abut against and clean an inner surface of the conduit.

  • Publication number: 20200392698
Abstract: There is provided a material transfer system including a reciprocating conveyor which selectively moves in a first direction of movement and a second direction of movement opposite the first direction of movement. The conveyor is configured to promote movement of material in the first direction and inhibit movement of material in the second direction. There is further provided a material transfer system comprising a first reciprocating conveyor which selectively moves material towards a first location. The system includes a second reciprocating conveyor which overlaps with the first reciprocating conveyor. The second reciprocating conveyor selectively moves material from the first location towards a second location. There is also provided a material transfer system comprising a passageway having an upstream inlet and a downstream outlet. The passageway may be a conduit, a siphon or chute. The system includes a reciprocating conveyor conveying fluvial material towards the inlet of the passageway.

  • Patent number: 9800622
Abstract: In general, techniques of the present disclosure are directed to a system for virtual socializing between electronic devices. In one example, the method includes joining, by a first computing device, a communication session enabling communication between the first computing device and a second computing device. The method includes outputting, multimedia content that is output at the second computing device. The method also includes receiving and outputting, by the first computing device, data from the second computing device using the communication session, while the multimedia content is outputting at the first output device, where the data comprises data captured by an input device of the second computing device. The method further includes sending a configuration request that sets a control model mode of the communication session, where the control model mode controls which computing devices communicatively coupled via the communication session has permission to modify at least the multimedia content.

  • Patent number: 8331192
Abstract: The technologies described herein include systems and methods for performing a first seismic survey and performing a second seismic survey after a predetermined amount of time has lapsed between the first seismic survey and the second seismic survey. The shot times and the shot positions of the second seismic survey may be substantially the same as the shot times and the shot positions of the first seismic survey. After performing the seismic surveys, seismic data generated by the first seismic survey may be processed to generate a first image, and seismic data generated by the second seismic survey may be processed to generate a second image. After generating the first and second images, a difference between the first image and the second image may be computed to generate a time lapse difference image.
