  • Patent number: 11097932
Abstract: A grapple truck with side loader having a generally J-shaped scoop in a lateral recess of the truck bed sidewall. Sometimes loader is longitudinally truncated forming an adjacent debris-bin vertical transport. The power lift system is either a direct lift-pivot with cylinder lifters or a channel-guided lifter with candy-cane shaped channels. Side loader rises from a low, manual loading position to an upper inverted dump position whereat loader displaces debris into truck bed box. Scoop's loader edge is planarly coextensive or inboard truck sidewall, and at or beneath the truck wheel axis line. A chassis mounted, articulated boom, with longitudinally extending arm segments, terminates in a grapple jaw. The articulated boom and grapple jaw has a longitudinally foreshortened stored position in and above the truck bed. In multiple operative positions, the arm extends beyond the truck bed and rear bed wall and laterally over and beyond truck sidewalls.

  • Patent number: 10846992
Abstract: A gaming method and system for converting class III games to meet casino regulatory requirements for class II games through the use of a class II gaming engine. The random number generator used to determine results in any class III game is replaced with a class II gaming engine configured to provide bingo-generated game results in lieu of random number generated results while not altering the player's game play experience. Any class III gaming terminal may be communicatively connected to the class II gaming engine which, in turn, may be communicatively connected to a class II central server. The class II central server may be connected to a plurality of class II gaming engines in a plurality of casinos and may be used to manage and maintain the class II gaming engines.

  • Patent number: 10440899
Abstract: A hedge trimmer has at least one cutting blade and an internal combustion engine operatively connected to the at least one cutting blade so as to drive the at least one cutting blade reciprocatingly. The internal combustion engine has an exhaust gas muffler with an outlet for discharging exhaust gases from the exhaust gas muffler. A multi-part exhaust gas pipe is connected seal-tightly to the outlet of the exhaust gas muffler and connects the outlet of the exhaust gas muffler to an outlet opening where the exhaust gases exit from the hedge trimmer. The multi-part exhaust gas pipe has a plurality of pipe sections, including at least a first pipe section and a second pipe section, wherein the second pipe section is embodied separate from the first pipe section. At least one of the plurality of pipe sections is made of plastic material.

  • Publication number: 20180023680
Abstract: A work apparatus has a gear unit which is arranged in a gear housing. The gear unit includes a drive part arranged in a first housing part of the gear housing and an output part arranged in a second housing part. The two housing parts are connected to each other via a pivot joint which permits pivoting of the second housing relative to the first housing part about a pivot axis. The pivot joint has a clamping device for bracing the two housing parts in the direction of the pivot axis. The force exerted with the clamping device on the two housing parts is adjustable via a clamping element. To avoid loosening or releasing of the clamping device even after frequent pivoting, the clamping element moves during clamping in the direction of a clamping axis which encloses an angle ? which is more than 10° with the pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 9041320
Abstract: The invention relates to a portable work apparatus having a housing and a work tool which is driven by an electric motor via a gear assembly. A flywheel which rotates about a rotational axis is arranged in the drive train between the electric motor and the gear assembly, which flywheel is connected fixedly to an output shaft so as to rotate with it, which output shaft protrudes into a gear assembly space and has a drive pinion. The output, shaft and the flywheel are mounted in the housing by two bearing locations, the rotational axis of the flywheel and a motor shaft of the electric motor lying coaxially with respect to one another, and the motor shaft of the electric motor being connected fixedly to the flywheel so as to rotate with it. The electric motor is fixed in the housing exclusively via a torque support.
