  • Publication number: 20160356140
Abstract: A lithological displacement of an underground evaporite mineral stratum from an underlying non-evaporite stratum comprising the application of a lifting hydraulic pressure of a fluid at a weak interface between the strata, resulting in lifting the overburden above the interface, separating the evaporite stratum from the underlying non-evaporite stratum and thus forming a mineral free-surface. The lifting hydraulic pressure is greater than the overburden pressure. The formed mineral free-surface is accessible for dissolution by a solvent. The fluid used for lifting may comprise a solvent suitable to dissolve the mineral. The evaporite mineral stratum preferably comprises trona, nahcolite, wegscheiderite, or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 9457495
Abstract: A rotary molding system for molding food products, mold cavities formed when a mold shell rotates mold shapes disposed along the mold shell into a fill position between a fill plate and a wear plate. Molded food products are removed from mold cavities using knock-out cups, the use of air pressure, or the use of a vacuum source disposed below the mold cavity, without the need to slow the rotation of the mold shell. Knock-out cups may be used with a heating system to reduce accumulation of unwanted materials on the knock-out cups. The rotary molding system can also be used to form products with contoured surfaces. A smart tagging system can be used to ensure that compatible sets of mold shells and knock out cups are being used. A vacuum region may be disposed upstream of the fill position to remove air within the mold cavity prior to filling.

  • Patent number: 9344865
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and network traffic management apparatus that selects a first one of a plurality of Short Message Service Center (SMSC) servers based on a load balancing decision in response to an external short messaging entity (ESME) SMPP request message received from a first one of a plurality of ESMEs. A first sequence number is generated for the ESME SMPP request message. The first sequence number is stored in a first entry of a mapping table as associated with a sequence number included in the ESME SMPP request message and an indication of the first one of the plurality of SMSC servers. The sequence number included in the ESME SMPP request message is replaced with the first sequence number. The ESME SMPP request message is sent to the first one of the plurality of SMSC servers.

  • Publication number: 20150287434
Abstract: A computer-controlled method of capturing and structuring information from a meeting. Audio data is captured from a meeting with a microphone and stored. Information timestamps are stored indicating a time corresponding to a speaker utterance in the audio data. A diagram is generated and stored in accordance with a series of diagram inputs received from a human operator via an input device, the diagram having a plurality of nodes connected by links and each diagram input either creating, editing or deleting an associated one of the nodes or links. The diagram is displayed on a display device, the displayed diagram changing in response to the diagram inputs so that it has a plurality of intermediate forms during the meeting phase and a final form at the end of the meeting phase. One or more event timestamps are stored for each node or link, each event timestamp indicating a time of receipt of a diagram input which creates, edits or deletes the node or link.

  • Publication number: 20150142948
Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards using policy rules that may be extended by scripting operative on a traffic management device. Each policy rule may have a condition and a corresponding action. If the condition is a script, a script engine separate from the policy engine may be employed to execute the script to determine if the condition is met. Otherwise, the policy engine may determine if the condition is met based on declarative expressions that comprise the condition. If the condition is met the action corresponding to the policy rule may be executed. Scripts may be used to compute the values of operands that may be used in one or more of the expression that comprise a condition for a policy rule. Also, the action corresponding to a policy rule may be implemented using a script that is executed by a script engine.

  • Patent number: 9020912
Abstract: A method, computer readable medium, and network traffic management apparatus that accesses data in a compressed file system includes obtaining an original write request from a client computing device including at least object data. The object data is compressed into a plurality of compressed blocks. A mapping of each compressed block to a portion of the object data compressed therein is generated, wherein the portion of the object data compressed therein is represented in the mapping by a unique object identifier, a start offset, and a length. The compressed blocks and the mapping are stored in at least one data storage device. At least one data access request for at least a portion of the object data is serviced based on the mapping.

  • Publication number: 20150111508
Abstract: In one embodiment, an antenna unit is provided that includes an antenna and a coax connector. The coax connector includes an inner conductor configured to contact a signal conductor of a coaxial cable and a ground contact configured to contact a metal shield of the coaxial cable. The coax connector is coupled to the antenna such that RF signals on the inner conductor are coupled to the antenna and such that RF signals sensed by the antenna are coupled to the inner conductor. The antenna unit also includes a non-volatile memory coupled to the coax connector such that the non-volatile memory can send and receive signals over the inner conductor. The non-volatile memory is configured to obtain operating power from a direct current voltage provided over a coaxial cable. The non-volatile memory has an identifier stored therein for identifying the antenna unit.

  • Publication number: 20150046862
Abstract: A data visualization technique is provided with the capability of manipulating bins of data through an interactive graphical presentation of displayed data. When a histogram is generated from stored data, a user may interact directly with the histogram columns to change columns position, width and height. A user, for example, may click and drag a particular side of a bin to change the lower or upper limit of the bin, click and drag the top of a bin to change the size/height of the bin (i.e., number of data points/elements within the bin), or click and drag the center of the bin to move or reposition the bin. The techniques may be applied to other graphical representations of data as well, such as splat graphical displays of data.

  • Publication number: 20150007079
Abstract: A system provides data visualization with the capability of combining parallel coordinates and histograms. Parallel coordinates typically display lines between two or more vertical lines representing a coordinate element. In addition to displaying lines between coordinate element axes, histograms are provided at each element line to indicate the instances of data associated with line values. To create parallel coordinates with histograms, bin values may be determined for the parallel coordinates. Data is then accessed, and a particular bin value is incremented for each data point that falls within the bin. The parallel coordinates are then displayed with the histograms indicating a quantity of data associated with each coordinate value.

  • Publication number: 20150007111
Abstract: The present technology may provide data visualization with the capability to interactively select the orientation of one or more axis used to display data. Data to be visualized is accessed by a data visualization application. The data may be structured or unstructured, filtered and analyzed. The accessed data may be displayed through an interface of the visualization application for a user. The coordinate system for displaying the data may also be displayed. A user may orient an axis of the coordinate system by providing input within a graphics portion of an interface rather than navigating to a control button or other portion of the interface provided by the visualization application. The input may be associated with a particular axis. For example, to move a particular axis from its current position to a vertical position, the axis may be selected within the graphical portion of the interface using a cursor.

  • Publication number: 20150007096
Abstract: Data visualization is provided with the capability to interactively rotate data about a particular co-ordinate axis or other axis. Data to be visualized is accessed by a data visualization application. The accessed data may be displayed through an interface of the visualization application for a user. A user may rotate data about a particular axis of the coordinate system by providing a continuous input within a graphics portion of an interface. The input may be associated with the particular axis. The data displayed in the interface will rotate about the coordinate axis as the user drags the cursor.

  • Publication number: 20150007113
Abstract: Data visualization is provided with the capability to substitute elements for groups of clustered data in a graphical interface. When large numbers of data points are to be displayed in an interface, one or more groupings of data existing close together in coordinate space may be identified within the data. Once the groupings are identified and created, an element representing each grouping may be displayed in the visualization interface along with data points not associated with a grouping. A user may select a grouping to see additional information about the grouping, such as a zoomed-in view of the data points making up the grouping. Similarly, a user may select a portion of the data points that make up a grouping to display the element and zoom out for a broader view of the data.
