  • Publication number: 20260148476
Abstract: Linear-Swept Sphere (LSS) primitives alongside hardware linear curve intersection testing and traversal logic allow traversal of curves directly within a hardware ray tracer. The introduction of the LSS primitive block, LSS primitive ranges, ray-LSS intersection testing, and LSS fetch removes the requirement that curve traversal utilize ray tracer item-ranges for traversal of curve primitives within a BVH and ray-curve intersection testing through software intersection shaders. Definition of an LSS primitive supports enablement of a single LSS endcap, query and return of the ray-LSS exit hit point, and degenerate-shell LSS intersection testing.

  • Patent number: 12573848
Abstract: Methods for detecting power system events in an electrical power system. An example method comprises determining a signal envelope for each of at least first and second power system signals and performing density-based spatial clustering of a series of points formed by combining respective values of the signal envelopes for at least the first and second power system signals. The example method further comprises detecting one or more power system events by identifying outlier points or groups of points in the spatial clustering.

  • Patent number: 11972569
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a multi-model object segmentation system that provides a multi-model object segmentation framework for automatically segmenting objects in digital images. In one or more implementations, the multi-model object segmentation system utilizes different types of object segmentation models to determine a comprehensive set of object masks for a digital image. In various implementations, the multi-model object segmentation system further improves and refines object masks in the set of object masks utilizing specialized object segmentation models, which results in more improved accuracy and precision with respect to object selection within the digital image. Further, in some implementations, the multi-model object segmentation system generates object masks for portions of a digital image otherwise not captured by various object segmentation models.

  • Publication number: 20240028073
Abstract: The present invention is comprised of a pendant with a wearable display (functional jewelry) and accompanying mobile app that allow users to choose an emoji/image from the app for display on the pendant. The invention will transmit image data (jpegs, gifs) from its mobile app for wireless pickup by the “Emogems” pendant (AMOLED 1.4? round display). One image/emoji will be displayed on the pendant at a time, although the user will be able to replace displayed images at will by making selections from the emoji library on the app. When no emoji is selected, while the display is on, the Emogems logo is visible on the display as a default image. Most images/emoji will be static, but some include animated gifs that animate indefinitely.
