  • Patent number: 12009064
Abstract: The disclosure provides methods and systems for identifying a subset of compounds in a plurality of compounds. The identifying includes obtaining, for each compound, a vector including a set of elements, where each element includes a measurement of a different feature of an instance of a cell context upon exposure to the compound. The identifying includes performing the obtaining for a plurality of cell contexts, to obtain a plurality of vectors for each compound across different cell contexts. The identifying includes combining the vectors for each compound to form a combined vector for each compound, thereby forming a plurality of combined vectors representing different compounds. The identifying includes pruning the plurality of compounds to the subset of compounds based on a similarity between respective combined vectors in the plurality of combined vectors corresponding to compounds in the plurality of compounds.
    Type: Grant

The identifying includes obtaining, for each compound, a vector including a set of elements, where each element includes a measurement of a different feature of an instance of a cell context upon exposure to the compound. The identifying includes repeating the obtaining for a plurality of cell contexts, to obtain a plurality of vectors for each compound across different cell contexts. The identifying includes combining the vectors for each compound to form a combined vector for each compound, thereby forming a plurality of combined vectors representing different compounds. • Patent number: 8425913
Abstract: An immunogenic agent which comprises a killed strain of Burkholderia pseudomallei, or a combination of components thereof which combination produces a protective immune response in an animal to whom it is administered, and which comprises at least two members selected from the group consisting of (i) a lipopolysaccharide of Burkholderia pseudomallei, (ii) a capsular polysaccharide of Burkholderia pseudomallei and (iii) a protein of Burkholderia pseudomallei or an immunogenic variant thereof or an immunogenic fragment of either of these, or a nucleic acid which expresses said protein, immunogenic variant or immunogenic fragment thereof in a host animal; for use in the prevention or treatment of infection by Burkholderia pseudomallei and/or Burkholderia mallei.

  • Publication number: 20110004421
Abstract: A method of inference of appliance usage from a point measurement on a supply line, said supply line being common to multiple appliances and/or components of appliances comprises the steps of: obtaining data from said measurement point; sampling power and reactive power at intervals substantially throughout periods of operation of said appliances or components of appliances corresponding to appliances or components of appliances being in ON and/or OFF modes of use; identifying characteristics of events by assessing power and reactive power change during an event; and by assessing one or more additional characteristics derivable from said power and reactive power to characterise an appliance; grouping events and/or cycles of events into clusters of similar characteristics; and inferring appliance usage based on said grouping.

  • Publication number: 20080138431
Abstract: A microparticle composition comprising a biodegradable polymer, an immunogenic single-stranded ribonucleic acid (ss-RNA) material, a biologically active macromolecule and a stabilising agent wherein the outer surface of the resulting microparticle is free from adsorbed molecules is described. The composition is effective in providing an immune response in dendritic cells, in particular by stimulating increased production of IFN-?. Methods of production and uses, in medicine, of pharmaceutical compositions derived from the microparticles are also claimed and described.
