Abstract: A method monitors a motor vehicle that contains a sensor system for detecting vandalism which is inflicted on the motor vehicle by at least one attacking person. The method includes issuing a warning via a user interface of a terminal device assigned to the motor vehicle to inform a user of the detected vandalism. The method also includes enabling one or more control instructions to be selected by the user of the user interface when the warning is issued. An action of the motor vehicle is assigned to a respective selectable control instruction, wherein the action includes a visual and/or acoustic signal output on the motor vehicle for warning the attacking person. When a first respective control instruction is selected by the user, triggered by the terminal device, the action assigned to the first respective selected control instruction is carried out by the motor vehicle.

Abstract: A method to operate a motor vehicle is provided. The method comprises capturing an image of the road ahead of the vehicle; determining a limit point on a first side of a lane of the road in which the vehicle is travelling, at which the first side appears to substantially converge with a second side of the lane within the image; determining a limit line extending across the road from the limit point in a direction perpendicular to the first and/or second sides of the lane; determining a limit distance between the vehicle and the limit line; determining a stopping distance of the vehicle according to the current speed of the vehicle; and alerting a driver of the vehicle if the stopping distance is greater than the limit distance. A safety system for a vehicle is also provided.

Both the cartridge and the jaws are connectable to a scissors-like handle assembly arranged to translate motion from finger loops to the jaws to open and close the jaws and thus close or crimp a delivered clip between the jaws.
