Patent number: 11926346Abstract: In various examples, a yield scenario may be identified for a first vehicle. A wait element is received that encodes a first path for the first vehicle to traverse a yield area and a second path for a second vehicle to traverse the yield area. The first path is employed to determine a first trajectory in the yield area for the first vehicle based at least on a first location of the first vehicle at a time and the second path is employed to determine a second trajectory in the yield area for the second vehicle based at least on a second location of the second vehicle at the time. To operate the first vehicle in accordance with a wait state, it may be determined whether there is a conflict between the first trajectory and the second trajectory, where the wait state defines a yielding behavior for the first vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: NVIDIA CorporationInventors: Fangkai Yang, David Nister, Yizhou Wang, Rotem Aviv, Julia Ng, Birgit Henke, Hon Leung Lee, Yunfei Shi

Patent number: 7621409Abstract: A low profile shelf system that improves the merchandising of product by creating more spacing between shelves to accommodate larger product includes low profile shelf supports. Each low-profile shelf support may define a back portion and a front portion. The back portion may include a fastening plate attached thereto, each fastening plate having a hook formation that can be inserted into a slotted upright. The back portion of the shelf support may be at least 75% vertically longer than the front portion, resulting in the front portion having a significantly lower profile than the back portion of the shelf support, thereby creating more spacing between shelves to accommodate larger product.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2007Date of Patent: November 24, 2009Assignee: RTC Industries, Inc.Inventors: Stephen Hardy, Adam Gold, John Ward, Max Syvuk, John Swafford, David Henke

Patent number: 6790033Abstract: A fireplace fountain having a base, a basin adapted to hold a liquid supported by the base, and a hood supported by the base over the basin. A fire pan is supported by the base over the basin and under the hood, with a burner being supported above the fire pan and adapted to be connected to a fuel source. A perforated tubing is supported in the hood, with a pump and supply tube connected thereto. The pump and supply tube are in fluid communication with the basin so that liquid held in the basin may be circulated by a pump to the perforated tubing. Liquid exits the perforated tubing and falls into the basin, but not into the fire pan so that the liquid does not extinguish any flame generated by the burner.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2002Date of Patent: September 14, 2004Assignee: Fleming Sales Company, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey T. Grady, David Henke, Kent Bach

Patent number: 6601285Abstract: An impact tool for use by telecommunications personnel for the insertion of communications wires in a terminal block. The impact tool includes an impact tool cartridge having a seating blade and a cutting blade. The seating blade is retractable against a compression spring while the cutting blade is fixed so that upon the application of seating pressure to the impact tool, the seating blade retracts and the cutting blade is exposed to cut the wire. In another embodiment of the invention, a spring loaded detent supplements the compression spring in resisting retraction of the seating tool. A noise producing mechanism is located in the impact tool handle for producing an audible sound upon completion of the wire seating and terminating operations. A storage compartment for the seating and cutting blades is formed in the impact tool handle and has a door pivotally mounted for opening and closing movement relative to the handle.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2002Date of Patent: August 5, 2003Assignee: Ideal Industries, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey P.
