    Abstract: A method for loading files for a hardware device. An operating system requests from a user a location of a first file component for the hardware device. The operating system receives input from the user that provides the location. A file at the location loads the first file component from the location and indicates to the operating system that the location contains a second file component for the hardware device. The operating system retrieves from the location the second file component for the hardware device.
