  • Publication number: 20240068070
Abstract: An oxy-fuel combustion gas generator combusts fuel with oxygen to produce high temperature steam and carbon dioxide. A lithium brine is introduced into the gas generator to cause at least a portion of the water within the lithium brine to be converted into steam. A steam separator downstream from the gas generator separates steam and carbon dioxide from a resulting higher concentration lithium brine. This higher concentration lithium brine can then be beneficially utilized. Furthermore, the steam and CO2 from the steam separator can be utilized to generate power, such as by a turbine, can supply CO2 for use within the lithium extraction plant or within a geological formation for sequestration away from the atmosphere and/or for enhanced recovery of lithium brine from the geological structure.

  • Publication number: 20230284570
Abstract: A flexible growcenter includes a mobile container, a behind-the-meter power input system, a power distribution system, a growcenter control system, a climate control system, a lighting system, and an irrigation system. The growcenter control system modulates power delivery to one or more components of the climate control system, the lighting system, and the irrigation system based on unutilized behind-the-meter power availability or an operational directive. A method of dynamic power delivery to a flexible growcenter using unutilized behind-the-meter power includes monitoring unutilized behind-the-meter power availability, determining when a growcenter ramp-up condition is met, and enabling behind-the-meter power delivery to one or more computing systems when the growcenter ramp-up condition is met.

  • Publication number: 20110083277
Abstract: A foam pad includes a plurality of pad sections for supporting body portions of a user in a use condition. Two of the pad sections are end sections constituted of a foam material having a predetermined density, and another of the pad sections is a middle section constituted of a foam material having a density different from the predetermined density. The middle section is interlocked with one of the pad sections and located between the end sections in the use condition for supporting at least one of the body portions of the user to a different extent than the end sections.
