  • Publication number: 20080176972
Abstract: A radiation-cured, elastomeric, urethane acrylate polymer has an elongation at break of between 100% (50) and 400% and a film break strength of between 200 and 2,600 psi at a thickness between about 0.002 inches and 0.010 inches.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 19, 2007
    Publication date: July 24, 2008

  • Publication number: 20080030854
Abstract: Techniques for adhering metal backed cube corner Retroreflective tapes to a variety of fabric types, such as Gortex™, by applying a thermoset adhesive to the back of the tape at temperatures below the activation temperature (e.g., at about the melt temperature), and then subsequently applying the tape to the garment at temperatures above the adhesive activation temperature. This permits adhesive bonding to both the fabric and the tape at the same time, which in turn provides improved performance through numerous wash and wear cycles.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 26, 2007
    Publication date: February 7, 2008
Inventors: David Hews, Maurice Brady, Ian Christopher, Andrew Woodward
