  • Publication number: 20240091606
Abstract: Provided herein are embodiments of golf club heads comprising a crown and a ribbed region. The ribbed region of the golf club head can be positioned on a portion of the crown and can further include a ribbed wall, wherein the ribbed wall comprises a ribbed wall interior surface, a ribbed wall exterior surface, and one or more external ribs. The one or more external ribs can protrude from the ribbed region to increase the strength of the crown and beneficially reduce crown thickness. Other embodiments and related methods are disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20240075359
Abstract: Embodiments of multi-component putters comprising an upper portion and a lower portion are described herein. The upper portion is formed from a first material having a first density and the lower portion is formed from a second material having a second density. The first density is less than the second density. The upper portion is affixed to the lower portion via an adhesive or a combination of adhesives and interlocking geometry. The multi-component putter design provides increased forgiveness and moment of inertia compared to a putter formed from a single material.

  • Patent number: 11918864
Abstract: Embodiments of putter-type golf club head comprising a striking surface capable of achieving consistent ball speeds across the striking surface to account for various ball impact locations are described herein. The striking surface has at least two materials that differ in concentration away from the geometric center of the striking surface to provide this consistency. Consistent (or uniform) ball speed is achieved throughout the striking surface as the portion of the golf ball that contacts the striking surface interacts with at least two materials having a differing material characteristic.

  • Publication number: 20240050821
Abstract: Described herein is a golf bag with a sub-assembly and a stand assembly that together form a carry bag. The sub-assembly can comprise a divider top, a base, a divider sleeve, one or more stays that secure the base to the divider top, and a flat. The stand assembly can comprise a pair of legs, a spring, a pair of brackets for attaching the spring to the legs, and a pair of leg end cap protectors. When strapped to a golf cart, a golf bag can rub against portions of the cart, wearing paint off the legs. The instant golf bag comprises leg end cap protectors that can prevent wear on an upper portion of the legs. Furthermore, the stand assembly can be shipped disconnected from the sub-assembly to allow the sub-assembly to collapse and reduce shipping box size.
