  • Publication number: 20240385080
Abstract: A gear identification tool includes a segmented assembly including a first body and a second body movable relative to each other. The first and second bodies are coupled to each other by an attachment structure. The first body includes a plurality of first gear teeth configured to mesh with first predetermined gear teeth of a first gear. The first gear teeth have a first teeth profile. The second body includes a plurality of second gear teeth configured to mesh with second predetermined gear teeth of a second gear. The second gear teeth have a second teeth profile that is different than the first teeth profile.

  • Publication number: 20180173776
Abstract: In one embodiment, a mapping of a source element from source data to a destination element in the view is detected. The method analyzes a first path of the source element and a second path for a parent element to the destination element to determine whether the mapping should use an absolute path or a relative path. When the relative path should be used, the relative path is stored to map the destination element to the source element. When the absolute path should be used, the absolute path is stored to map the destination field to the source element. Then, the method generates a document that maps the source element in the source format to destination data in the destination format, the source element being retrieved from the source data using the relative path or the absolute path.

  • Patent number: 9027216
Abstract: A swage collar and an internal sealing insert form a swage collar assembly used in combination with a structural fastener to prevent leakage through a connection of workpieces fastened together by the structural fastener. The swage collar has a hollow, generally cylindrical main body portion with a main central bore, and a base portion with an internal shoulder formed in the main central bore so as to form a seal receiving guide. The shaft of the fastener typically includes a threaded section and an unthreaded section, and the internal sealing insert interfaces with the threaded section and the unthreaded section of the shaft of the pin. In an alternate embodiment, the internal sealing insert interfaces with the unthreaded section of shaft of the pin.

  • Patent number: 8470469
Abstract: A gasket is for use in a starved electrolyte bipolar battery. The gasket may be made from a hydrophobic material in the shape of a frame to prevent the creation of an electrolyte path between adjacent cells when mounted in a battery. The frame may be designed to at least partially encompass a biplate when mounted in a bipolar battery, and include a device or way to permit gas passage through the gasket. The gasket may be made from a material with deformable properties to provide a sealing to a biplate and/or endplate when mounted in a bipolar battery, whereby an outer pressure tight seal of the battery may be obtained. A starved bipolar battery and a method for manufacturing a starved bipolar battery are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8460402
Abstract: A gasket for a bipolar battery comprises a structural part in the shape of a frame having an upper surface and a lower surface, and at least one channel to permit gas passage through the gasket. The structural part may be made from a first material having hydrophobic properties. The gasket further comprises at least a first sealing surface arranged in a closed loop projecting from the upper surface, and at least a second sealing surface arranged in a closed loop projecting from the lower surface. The first and the second sealing surfaces are provided on at least one sealing part, are made from a second material, and the first material of the structural part has a higher elastic modulus than an elastic modulus of the second material of the sealing parts. A bipolar battery and a method for manufacturing a gasket are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20120318832
Abstract: A water bottle has a hook-shaped design that allows a user to easily slide it into a waistband or into a pocket without requiring extra hardware to attach it. The hook of the bottle rests on the waistband and the lower portion water bottle stays put, tucked inside the user's waistband while the person is in motion. A runner, for example, can run efficiently while carrying the water bottle, allowing them to utilize something they are already wearing—their waistband. The contoured shape of the bottle allows the runner or active individual to easily remove the bottle for drinking and slide it back into the waistband without much effort. The contoured shape comfortably rests against the body so that runners/individuals sometime forget it is on the waistband.

  • Patent number: 4316798
Abstract: A separating chamber for a magnetic separator is disclosed, which separating chamber includes a canister having at least one inlet and at least one outlet and a fluid-permeable magnetisable packing material within the canister. When feed material from which magnetisable particles are to be separated is supplied to the inlet(s), it passes into the packing material by way of a fluid-permeable partition which serves to distribute the feed material over a large area within the packing material. By virtue of an externally applied magnetic field, magnetisable particles within the feed material are magnetically attracted to collecting sites within the packing material. So as to mitigate the effect of fluid passing through apertures in the partition which tends to produce high velocity jets, thereby prejudicing the separation efficiency, the partition is double-walled, the two walls being spaced slightly apart and being apertured.
