  • Patent number: 10230566
Abstract: A system, medium and method for dynamically constructing a service principal name is disclosed. A client request from a user to access a service is received at a network traffic management device which identifies an internet protocol (IP) address of a selected backend server to provide the requested service to the client. The network traffic management device identifies a hostname of the selected backend server based at least on the identified IP address and dynamically generates a service principal name (SPN) of the selected backend server based on the determined host name. The network traffic management device obtains a service ticket from a domain controller server using at least the generated SPN of the selected backend server. The network traffic management device uses the obtained service ticket along with the client request to provide the user access to the selected backend server for the client request.

  • Patent number: 10182760
Abstract: A body garment including sensors distributed throughout the garment, each sensor senses body state information from a local surface area of a body; and sensor nodes in proximity to the plurality of sensors, each sensor node including a processor to receive sensing body state information from at least one of the plurality of sensors. Each processor is configured to receive body state information locally from sensors, to utilize the information to determine a local surface shape of the surface of a portion of the body part; and to exchange local surface shape information with neighboring sensor nodes. At least one processor of utilizes the local surface shape information received from the sensor nodes to generate one overall model of a surface shape of the entire surface of the body part covered by the garment.

  • Publication number: 20180338824
Abstract: Apparatus for permanent placement across an ostium of a left atrial appendage in a patient, which includes a filtering membrane configured to extend across the ostium of the left atrial appendage. The filtering membrane has a permeable structure which allows blood to flow through but substantially inhibits thrombus from passing therethrough. The apparatus also includes a support structure attached to the filtering membrane which retains the filtering membrane in position across the ostium of the left atrial appendage by permanently engaging a portion of the interior wall of the left atrial appendage. The support structure may be radially expandable from a first configuration to a second configuration which engages the ostium or the interior wall of the left atrial appendage. The filtering membrane may define an opening therethrough that is configured to expand from a first size which inhibits the passage of thrombus therethrough to a second size which allows an interventional device, e.g.

  • Publication number: 20180140150
Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus having a dirt collection container which is removable from a remainder of the apparatus. The dirt collection container is held in a stored position relative the remainder of the apparatus by a holding device. The holding device includes a first co-operating member provided in, provided on or connected to the dirt collection container, a second co-operating member provided in, provided on or connected to the remainder of the apparatus. Movement of the dirt collection container towards its stored position engages the first and second co-operating members with each other and effects either rotation of the first co-operating member relative to the dirt collection container and/or rotation of the second co-operating member relative to the remainder of the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20180133715
Abstract: Instruments and cartridges for processing droplets in emulsions containing biological entities such as cells. A method of such processing comprises providing a plurality of the entities in a fluid; preparing a droplet from the fluid; determining whether the droplet contains one or more entities of said plurality of entities, or whether said droplet does not contain a said entity; sorting said droplet dependent on an outcome of the determination; and dispensing the sorted droplet into a reservoir. The dispensing may comprise identifying and extracting the sorted droplet from a first fluidic flow path of said fluid by transferring the sorted droplet from into a second fluidic flow path and then ejecting the sorted droplet into a reservoir by applying pressure to the second fluidic flow path. The droplet contents may be tracked so that the contents of an individual droplet can be sorted, selectively dispensed, and retrieved.

  • Patent number: 9631651
Abstract: A stretcher clamp mountable on a gurney designed to be quickly opened for inserting a cylindrical stretcher handle and then quickly closed. When closed, the stretcher clamp remains in a closed, locked position regardless of bumps and jolts received when the gurney is moved across rough terrain. When the gurney reaches its destination, the novel stretcher clamps are easily and reliably openable to release the stretcher handle therefrom. Unlike stretcher clamps of the prior art, the stretcher clamp of the invention is not prone to jamming caused by bending or other distortions during transit. The clamp has two major components: an elongated latch handle and an elongated handle retainer, both rotatively mounted in a rigid, U-shaped frame or base. These two components are interconnected by a linkage assembly that is rotatively connected to the elongated latch handle and the elongated handle retainer and positioned therebetween.
