  • Patent number: 8583219
Abstract: In a possible implementation, a method for cardiac testing is provided which includes measuring test data associated with cardiac events and storing the test data in an intracardiac stimulation device. The method further includes acquiring event electrograms corresponding with the test data and storing the event electrograms corresponding with the test data in the intracardiac stimulation device. In a possible implementation, marker data is stored associating event electrograms with measured test data, which may identify the event electrograms used for measuring the test data and/or identify when adjacent event electrograms are not contiguous. In some implementations, the test data may be measured and stored in an out-of-clinic test, and the test data and the corresponding event electrograms may be later retrieved from the intracardiac stimulation device and presented on a visual display.

  • Patent number: 7090533
Abstract: A connector (10) is configured for mounting to a panel (12). The panel (12) has a mounting aperture (18) formed with a keyway (22). The connector (10) has a housing (24) with a front end (26) dimensioned to pass through the mounting aperture (18). However, keys (44, 46, 48) project out in proximity to the front end (26) of the housing (24). At least one of the keys (48) is dimensioned to pass through the keyway (22). A stop flange (50) projects out from the housing (24) rearward of the keys (44, 46, 48). A resiliently deflectable locking finger (60) projects forward of the stop flange (50) and is dimensioned to engage in the keyway (22).

  • Publication number: 20060104297
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for setting up an IP session from a first node, across a network that uses direct virtual path routing, to a second node. The first node receives a request to set up the session. The second node is identified as the destination of the session, based on the request. A first stack of labels is obtained that defines a first path. A second stack of labels is obtained that defines a second path. A first label identifier is selected that identifies the session in a first direction. A second label identifier is selected that identifies the session in a second direction. Finally the data is transmitted from the first node to the second node and from the second node to the first node using the first stack and second stack of labels and label identifiers, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20060067298
Abstract: Method for admitting new voice calls to a VoIP network. Various points in the network are polled to generate a link utilization parameter. Parameters denoting threshold values of link utilization in the network are compared to the link utilization parameter. A first comparison is made between a first (current) link utilization parameter and first and second link utilization threshold parameters. Then, a second comparison is made between the current link utilization parameter and a second (previous) value of link utilization. A calculation of new calls allowed into the network is performed based on these comparisons and whether the current level of link utilization is rising or falling when compared to a previous level of link utilization.

  • Patent number: 7011539
Abstract: A connector (10) has a body (12) with an outwardly projecting flange spaced rearward from the front end (14) of the body (12). Wide mounting slots (36) extend through the flange (32). A seal (40) has a frame-shaped body (42) mounted over the front end (14) of the body (12) and against the flange (32). Attachment tabs (60) project back from the frame-shaped body (32) and through the mounting slots (36). The attachment tabs (60) have a length greater than their width and a width greater than their thickness. Portions of the attachment tabs (60) rearward of the attachment tabs (60) rearward of and adjacent to the flange (32) are wide than the mounting slots (36) for holding the seal (60) on the housing (12).

  • Publication number: 20050070230
Abstract: A method for managing calls of various relative priority levels in an IP network includes polling at least one location in the network to obtain information indicative of a level of utilization said at least one location and computing a status of utilization of said at least one location based on said polled information and assigning a decision policy to said status. A priority level of a new voice call requesting to enter the network is then assessed against relative to priorities of existing calls on the network and the decision policy is invoked on the new voice call according to its relative priority level to the existing calls on the network and the decision policy in effect at the time the new voice call requests entry to the network.

  • Publication number: 20050052996
Abstract: A method and apparatus for analyzing current voice call quality in an IP network before allowing a new voice call to enter therein. Circuitry in each gateway between a PSTN and the IP network obtains information from the IP network regarding the quality of voice call traffic being transmitted from one gateway to another gateway. A parameter is calculated by the circuitry based on this information. This parameter is compared to predetermined thresholds to guarantee acceptable quality for a new voice call that is attempting to enter the IP network. The circuitry includes three circuits. A first circuit passes voice call data to the IP network. A second circuit polls the IP network about traffic information transmitted therein. A third circuit processes the polled information to determine whether the voice call data is to be accepted by the IP network.

  • Publication number: 20050034562
Abstract: A novel molybdenum compound, ammonium dodecamolybdomolybdate (AMM), is described which may be used in the manufacture of molybdenum metal and molybdenum carbide powders. The molybdenum compound is a dodecaheteropoly acid salt having a Keggin-type structure wherein molybdenum resides in both the hetero as well as peripheral atomic positions. The novel compound has the general formula (NH4)2Mo12MoO40.6H2O. Because of its low solubility, the compound can be crystallized efficiently and at a high purity from ammonium molybdate solutions.
