  • Patent number: 11784987
Abstract: An embedded processing system includes processing circuitry, a memory system, and a reprogramming control. The reprogramming control is configured to receive a transaction indicator and user credentials from a reprogramming system, the transaction indicator identifying a type of configuration item to program in the memory system. The reprogramming control is further configured to access user authentication data to authenticate authority of a user to program the memory system based on the transaction indicator and user credentials and receive an encrypted configuration item. The reprogramming control is further configured to decrypt and authenticate the encrypted configuration item as a decrypted and authenticated configuration item responsive to authenticating the authority of the user, and store the decrypted and authenticated configuration item in the memory system.

  • Patent number: 8082764
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for indicating satisfactory times for titrating a chemical solution, e.g., cleaning product, used by a utility device to clean and/or sanitize various types of articles. The utility device is described in an exemplary embodiment as being a warewashing machine that applies the chemical solution to articles provided to the machine on racks. The chemical solution is formed in a solution tank from a combination of at least one chemical product and at least one rinse agent. Whereas the chemical product is described as a detergent, the rinse agent is described as water. Over a time period including multiple wash cycles, the chemical product and the rinse agent are added to the solution tank, thereby changing conductivity of the chemical solution.

  • Publication number: 20070251330
Abstract: An apparatus, for use with a fluid moving device that moves a fluid from a container. The apparatus includes a flowtube having a passage, the flowtube having a first end and a second end. A body is positioned in the passage of the flowtube, and a sensor array comprising at least two sensors is positioned along the length of the flowtube and between the first end and second end of the flowtube. The sensors in the sensor array sense (e.g., detect) the body as the body flows past the sensors. The sensors in the sensor array are adapted to generate signals, and a controller is operatively coupled to the sensor array. The controller is adapted to control the fluid moving device in response to the signals generated by the sensor array.

In one embodiment, a cable sealing apparatus has a body including a plurality of grooves and a hinge. The body is foldable around the hinge to form a plurality of cable apertures from pairs of the grooves in a folded position. The body has a resilient material to form a seal around each cable disposed in a corresponding cable aperture upon being compressed by a force moving the body to the folded position. In another embodiment, a cable sealing apparatus has a body including a plurality of cable apertures each having a length. The body has a plurality of longitudinal slits each extending along the length of one of the cable apertures and disposed between the cable aperture and an external surface of the body.
