    Abstract: Implants, devices, systems, and methods for achieving ligament fixation are disclosed. An implant comprises a cap member comprising an internally threaded opening extending from a first end thereof, an anchor portion comprising a first end that defines a tip of the implant and external threads, and a coupling portion extending between the cap member and the anchor portion. The coupling portion of the implant includes an externally threaded portion threadably coupled within the internally threaded opening of the cap member. The cap member of the implant is longitudinally moveable along the coupling portion. Insertion instruments for inserting an implant for ligament fixation are also disclosed. Methods of using an implant for achieving ligament fixation are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A vein imager includes: two photodetectors, a first and second lasers configured to respectively emit an infrared beam of light and a human-visible beam of light; a combiner to coaxially align the two beams; and a scanner that scans the coaxial beam in a pattern and onto a skin surface of a patient. The first photodetector receives the infrared wavelength reflected from the patient as a contrasted image of subcutaneous veins, and surface reflection noise due to skin surface topology, and outputs a first signal representing that contrasted image of subcutaneous veins and noise due to skin surface topology. The second photo detector receives the human-visible wavelength reflected from the skin surface and outputs a second signal representing a contrasted image of the topology. The second signal is subtracted from the first signal to remove the noise, permitting projection of a surface-noise-free vein image onto the skin surface.

The compute engine is to determine a ratio of unsuccessful operations to successful operations over a predefined time period of a core of the plurality cores that is assigned to continually poll, within the predefined time period, a memory address for a change in status and determine whether the determined ratio satisfies a reference ratio of unsuccessful operations to successful operations. The reference ratio is indicative of a change in the operation of the assigned core. The compute engine is further to selectively increase or decrease a power usage of the assigned core as a function of whether the determined ratio satisfies the reference ratio. The computing device classifies the network packets by priority level and then assigns each network packet to a performance group bin. The packets are assigned based on priority level and other performance criteria. The computing device schedules the network packets assigned to each performance group for processing by a processing engine such as a processor core. Network packets assigned to performance groups having a high priority level are scheduled for processing by processing engines with a high performance level. The computing device may select performance levels for processing engines based on processing workload of the network packets. The computing device may control the performance level of the processing engines, for example by controlling the frequency of processor cores. The processing workload may include packet encryption.
