  • Publication number: 20240152528
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to utilizing a distributed data management system to provide improved data management, redundancy, and reliability in distributed directory systems. To illustrate, a distributed data management system improves existing distributed directory systems by relocating and distributing the management of data records from a centralized cache device to the backend storage partition devices. In this manner, the backend storage partition devices become responsible for automatically pushing data record metadata and changes to the centralized cache device, which only passively redirects the incoming requests to the proper backend storage partition devices. Additionally, the backend storage partition devices automatically resolve conflicts and restore lost data if the centralized cache device or a backend storage partition device suffers from faults or device failures.

  • Patent number: 11954462
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and software for implementing dual Bayesian encoding-decoding for text-to-code transformations. In one aspect, a multi-model probabilistic source code model employing dual Bayesian encoder-decoder models is used to convert natural language (NL) inputs (aka requests) into source code. An NL input is processed to generate a Probabilistic Distribution (PD) of Source code (SC) tokens in an SC token sequence and a PD of Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) tokens in an AST token sequence, wherein each SC token is associated with a respective AST token, and each of the SC and AST tokens have a respective PD. One or more fixing rules are applied to one or more tokens SC tokens that are identified as needing fixing, wherein the fixing rule are selected in consideration of the PDs of the SC tokens and the PDs of their associated AST tokens.

  • Patent number: 9144172
Abstract: A number of structural modules are configured to be secured together and to be secured to a foundation. Each of the structural modules is without one or more sidewalls, such that when the structural modules are secured together they form a building structure that encloses an open region which continuously extends through interiors of the structural modules. Each of the number of structural modules is structurally formed to be independently transported. A power module is configured to be secured to one of the structural modules and to the foundation. The power module is defined as an enclosed structure and is structurally formed to be independently transported. The power module is equipped with electrical components for supplying and distributing electrical power to a pre-defined layout of data equipment to be deployed within the open region of the building structure formed by the number of structural modules.

  • Publication number: 20080210393
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of mediator-enzyme system, which is characterised in that the enzyme comprises a laccase-type enzyme and the mediator comprises a chemical compound which acts as a redox intermediate in the enzymatic oxidation, for the elimination of lipophilic compounds (including, among others, sterols that are free and conjugated in the form of esters and glycosides, triglycerides, fatty alcohols and resin acids) which cause deposits in the product, the machinery and the circuits during the production of pulp and paper (both from hardwood and softwood and non-woody plants). The treatment eliminates up to 100% of the aforementioned lipophilic compounds, depending on the material treated, and, in this way, improves the quality of the pulp obtained, the operation of the industrial installations and the characteristics of the end product.

  • Patent number: 6119097
Abstract: A method and apparatus which enables a supervisor to quantify job performance characteristics. The method accomplishes job performance quantification and tracking of performance by a series of steps which include using an employee problem-solving worksheet provided on a computer display to identify objective standards for the employee, identify and assign at least one objective activity to the employee which should enable the employee to meet the objective standards, completing a monthly evaluation of the person to determine whether or not the objective activities are being accomplished, and if so, whether the employee is at least meeting the objective standards. If the objective standards are not being met, the objective standards are re-evaluated to determine if they are realistic, and if they are, then new activities are assigned which should enable the person to meet the original or modified objective standards.
