  • Patent number: 9708015
Abstract: A rear spoiler device for a vehicle with at least one rear door includes at least one lateral air-deflector element and a roof air-deflector element that can be adjusted between a default position and a travel position for contour extension and aerodynamic air conduction when the rear door is closed. The device comprises a wing, which has a first swivel joint to enable pivotable fastening to the rear door. The wing is adjustably attached to the lateral air-deflector element via at least one second swivel joint. At least one locking device is provided for locking the lateral air-deflector element with the wing. A coupling device is provided for coupling an adjustment of the locking device to the adjustment of the roof air-deflector element.

  • Publication number: 20160332680
Abstract: A rear spoiler device (8) for a vehicle (1) has at least: a roof air directing element (9) which extends in a transverse direction (y) for aerodynamically extending the contour of a roof surface (4) of the vehicle (1) in a travel position and an adjustment device (10) for adjusting the roof air directing element (9) between the travel position and a retracted basic position. The roof air directing element (9) is constructed in such a manner that in the travel position a region (9b) of the roof air directing element (9) which is external in a transverse direction (y) is located under a region (9a) of the roof air directing element (9) which is internal in a transverse direction.

  • Patent number: 9327776
Abstract: A rear spoiler device (10) for a vehicle (1) has at least one rear door (8, 9), wherein the rear spoiler device (10) has at least one side spoiler (16, 17) with at least one side air guide element (32), which can be moved between a driving position for contour extension and aerodynamic air guidance when the rear door (8, 9) is closed, and a base position when the rear door (8, 9) is open. The side spoiler (16, 17) furthermore has a swing arm (30) with a first pivot joint (31) for pivotable fixation to the rear door (8, 9), the side air guide element (32) is mounted pivotably on the swing arm (30) via at least one second pivot joint (34), and the side air guide element (32) has a locking arrangement on its front end region (32a) for releasable and lockable fixation to the truck (1).

  • Publication number: 20160068200
Abstract: The invention relates to a rear spoiler device (10) for a vehicle (1), which has at least one rear door (8, 9), the device having at least one lateral air-deflector element (32) and a roof air-deflector element (24) that can be adjusted between a default position and a travel position for contour extension and aerodynamic air conduction when the rear door (8, 9) is closed. It comprises a wing (30), which has a first swivel joint (31), in order to be pivotably fastened to the rear door (8, 9), wherein the wing (30) is adjustably attached to the lateral air-deflector element (32) via at least one second swivel joint (34), wherein at least one locking device (40) is provided for locking the lateral air-deflector element (32) with the wing (30), and a coupling device (60) is provided for coupling an adjustment of the locking device (40) to the adjustment of the roof air-deflector element (24).
