  • Publication number: 20150167927
Abstract: An accent lighting source utilizes a light source having a metal heat dissipating housing with an aperture within which at least one point light source, such as from an LED, is mounted. The aperture is closed by a lens/diffuser structure. The light source is mounted within a housing for the accent light source. The housing has a design configuration that supports one or more of a preferred accent lighting installation on a horizontal or vertical surface. Exemplary horizontal surfaces include the top of a post member, a deck surface, a stair surface or an overhanging or ceiling surface. Exemplary vertical surfaces include a stair riser and the side of post or wall surface.

  • Publication number: 20070258831
Abstract: A compressor includes a cylinder having major and minor compression chambers. The major compression chamber includes an ambient intake and an outlet which can be directed either to the intake of the minor chamber or directly to a holding tank. The outlet from the minor chamber is likewise directed to the gas storage tank. In a preferred embodiment, the compressor includes two cylinders each with a major and minor chamber operated by a three-lobed cam. The compressor switches from single stage to dual stage operation with valves operable in response to attaining a preset gas pressure in the holding tank or output.

  • Publication number: 20070068468
Abstract: An apparatus to transfer power from rotary power to reciprocating power includes an odd numbered multi-lobed rotating cam that acts on a follower, which, in turn, causes or acts in response to reciprocation of pistons. The follower includes offset head portions and the cylinders, in turn are actually offset in the direction of the head portions. This reduces friction and improves efficiency. Further, the cylinders can include two inlets and two outlets so that each cylinder functions when the piston moves in either direction within the cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20020112628
Abstract: A drying unit with a control unit for use with small sheet-feed printing presses. The drying unit has a shell, with infrared heat elements positioned in the open bottom of the unit, at least one fan in the top of the unit, and a reflector between the heat elements and fan that reflects heat down onto the paper being dried and allows air being moved by the fans to circulate through openings in the reflector and onto the heat elements and paper. The heat elements are screwed into a socket on one end, and the sockets are secured to the reflector. The control unit allows the press operator to turn on and off and control the speed of the fans, and to turn on and off and control the heat of the heat elements in the drying unit. In another arrangement of the invention, one or more externally mounted adjustable speed fans connected to the drying unit by a blower hose are used instead of fans mounted integrally to the drying unit.
