  • Publication number: 20090166306
Abstract: The present invention is a delivery channel is configured movement while maintaining a consistent orientation of items attached thereto. The delivery channel includes a frame support with a front plate attached thereto. The front plate includes at least one means for holding a medical instrument and at least one control mechanism for the medical instrument. The at least one means for holding medical instrument and the at least one control mechanism are attached to the front plate to facilitate a consistent orientation during movement of frame support. A support body engages an aperture defined within the frame support and is configured for engaging a support post attached to an object. In operation, the at least one means for holding medical instrument and the at least one control mechanism are in a consistent orientation relative to one another during movement of the frame support.

  • Patent number: 7422288
Abstract: A chair arm rest system containing a chair having a vertical chair member hingedly connected to a horizontal chair member. A base proximal to the vertical chair member is attached to the horizontal chair member. The arm rest post is spring-biased towards the horizontal chair member but pivots in opposition of the spring towards the vertical chair member. A distal end of the arm rest post is pivotally attached to the top end of the base. An arm rest surface is attached to a proximal end of the arm rest post. A first end of a sling is attached to the vertical chair member. A second end of the sling is connected to the arm rest surface. In operation, by moving the vertical chair member relative to the horizontal chair member, the sling self-adjusts and the spring-biased arm rest post pivots towards the vertical chair member.

  • Publication number: 20080180521
Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-view system containing a means for retaining multi-view system on a user's head. A frame support is pivotally connected to the means for retaining multi-view system. At least one display device, such as an LCD, is hingedly connected to the frame support. The display device is positioned away from the direct view of the user's eyes. In a preferred embodiment, the display device is positioned at least 3 degrees away from the direct view of the user's eyes. In operation, the user can see objects in direct view and the display device by moving the eyes to provide direct view and display device view capability.

  • Publication number: 20080182224
Abstract: The present invention is a delivery system that conceals instruments and supplies to reduce patient anxiety while also providing an additional storage area that is accessible in an ergonomically acceptable manner by the user. The delivery system contains a delivery platform and a storage unit. The delivery platform has a base connected to a primary work surface area. The primary work surface area is capable of storing instruments and supplies. A storage unit has an outer surface attached to a wall surface proximal to the delivery platform. The storage unit has an inner surface containing a secondary work surface area capable of storing instruments and supplies designed to supplement the primary work surface area. In addition, a cover is hingedly connected to the outer surface of the storage unit to conceal the secondary work surface area from direct view of a patient.
