    Abstract: A method of producing a laminated image on a receiver is provided. The method includes providing a recording element comprising an unimaged image receiving layer having a removable protective laminate adhered to the unimaged image receiving layer; and transferring the removable protective laminate to an imaged image receiving layer. The imaged image receiving layer can be the former unimaged receiving layer after the layer has been printed. Alternatively, the imaged image receiving layer can be from a second recording element having an image receiving layer after that image receiving layer has been printed.

    Abstract: The flexible endoscopic probe of the present invention includes mechanically engaged components within the tip of the probe. That is, the probe includes a viewing system including a coherent optical fiber having a lens that is mechanically engaged to the tip thereof. Additionally, a metal sleeve may be utilized at the tip of the probe to mechanically bind all of the components within the probe at its tip. Potting materials or adhesives may also be utilized to seal the components within the probe tip. Owing to the usage of mechanical binding methods, the probe is more durable and may be heat sterilized in an autoclave, or the like, in order to permit repeated usage of the probe.

    Abstract: A rapid vascular drug delivery device, system and method is provided having a releasibly extending and retracting needle necessary for injecting and withdrawing fluid into and from a physiological or non-physiological cavity. Accordingly, the needle can be releasibly extended with sufficient momentum at a point of impact to penetrate a hard substance such as bone. The needle is slideably placed within an aperture configured at the forward end of a main housing, wherein a trigger needle can be arranged proximate to the forward end in order to detect tissue thickness or bone depth necessary for ensuring accurate placement of the bone-piercing needle within the bone marrow. The needle can receive fluids interspersed by parallel-placed or series-placed fluid containers configured within the main housing.
