  • Patent number: 9125466
Abstract: A business card holder includes a support for containing a number of business cards permitting vertical extraction of one card from the set by grasping the card along its narrower upper edge. The lower surface of the support is bevelled so as to cause the set of cards to be presented at the upper end of the support at differing heights for ease of extraction. The upper edge of at least one wall containing the cards is lower than the top edge of all of the cards in the set, providing an edge that will permit the uppermost card to be bent slightly outward over this top edge for extraction. The vertical height of the card support when positioned within a pocket may be established by providing a downwardly extending leg that will rest against the bottom of the pocket.

  • Patent number: 7513888
Abstract: A needle guard (1) based upon a canting plate (6) becomes lockingly engaged with the needle (2) shaft both upon retraction of the needle tip within the guard (1), and upon any attempt to cause the needle tip to reemerge from the guard (1). The plate (6) is positioned to rotate into locking engagement with the shaft of the needle (2) both when an attempt is made to further withdraw the needle from the needle guard (1) and when an attempt is made to cause the needle tip to reemerge from the needle guard (1).

  • Patent number: 6491743
Abstract: An electrostatic precipitator type filter is combined with replaceable, polarizable trapping media. In one aspect of the invention, the media is fitted between polarizing plates. In another aspect, the media is coated in sections to form a conductive surface which serve as the equivalent to the charged plates of the precipitator. These electrodes may be alternately displaced to provide a ready means to effect electrical connections.

  • Patent number: 4381117
Abstract: A connector device for connecting and towing a wheeled cart to and by a bicycle, having an elongated shaft including an aligned bolt with a head and having a front longitudinally aligned socket. A pivot ball, secured to the towing bicycle, and adapted to be removably held in the socket of the device. A slidable sleeve on the shaft over the socket extension of the device for so removably holding the ball in the socket in one slidable position thereof on the shaft. A removable spring sleeve holding clamp on the shaft. A rotatable slidable collar extending over the shaft extension. A coil extension spring on the bolt portion of the shaft, between the bolt head and said collar, with said slidable rotatable collar being adapted to have the towed cart tongue secured thereto. Said connecting device permitting a rotation of either the bolt or said collar of the device, with relation to each other upon bicycle torque pulling of the towed cart, on device connection use.
