  • Patent number: 11460830
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a duplicator assembly for forming a first void, which can be layered, in a laminated material of a part that matches a second void in a scarf repair guide. The duplicator assembly comprises an arm that comprises a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion is spaced apart from the second end portion. The duplication assembly also comprises a probe that is fixed to the first end portion of the arm and configured to trace the second void in the scarf repair guide. The duplication assembly further comprises a milling tool that is fixed to the second end portion of the arm such that the milling tool is co-movably coupled with the probe via the arm.

  • Patent number: 10535028
Abstract: Method, system, and computer program product for simulating the layout and flow of a manufacturing facility. An initial facility layout concept and a baseline input data set are received which define placement and movement of virtual objects within a virtual facility model. At least one of several analyses is performed based on the initial facility layout concept and the baseline input data set. An event flow analysis that outputs timing for movement of the objects from the initial positions may be performed. A geometric flow analysis that outputs interactions between the objects resulting from the movements from the initial positions may be performed. An ergonomic analysis that outputs human postures and motions resulting from interactions with objects may be performed. A simulated flow model for the manufacturing facility is generated. A three-dimensional virtual environment of the simulated flow model is generated and output for display.

  • Publication number: 20150268469
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing interactive production illustration information are provided. One system includes a machine vision system configured to attach to a user, wherein the machine vision system when attached to the user is aligned with a line of sight of the user towards a physical location. The machine vision system controllable by the user and configured to acquire an image of an article. The system also includes an interactive production illustration system coupled to the machine vision system, wherein the interactive production illustration system has stored therein interactive production illustration. The interactive production illustration system is configured to select interactive production illustration information for an assembly process for the article at the physical location based at least in part on the acquired image.
