Abstract: A resource modeler system comprises a processor adapted to receive a desired time period for completing a processing task and a library having information associated with a plurality of processor speeds. The system also comprises a modeler adapted to determine a quantity of cycles for each of the processor speeds corresponding to the desired time period and a quantity of cycles for each of the processor speeds corresponding to completion of the processing task. The modeler is further adapted to compare the determined quantities of cycles to select one of the plurality of processor speeds for completing the processing task within the desired time period.
