Publication number: 20180357667Abstract: A system and method is used to create, adapt, and deliver highly customized and targeted communications to a wide variety of people, with communication content being determined and adapted in real time. Communication content is determined by a wide variety of data captured during each encounter a person may have with the system. Captured data includes information sufficient to identify a person based on facial recognition and other biometric data as well as clothing, gait, etc. Each interactive media communication system will also capture encounter-specific data to associate with each person and encounter such as dwell time in general, dwell time as a function of displayed media, environmental conditions, time of day, presence of other people, location of encounter, etc. The data can be stored, aggregated, and parsed for use in creating customized communications for future encounters with each person.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2017Publication date: December 13, 2018Inventors: David R. Patent number: 8579624Abstract: A system is disclosed for manufacturing multi-wall corrugated polymer pipe. The system includes an extruder configured to co-extrude concentric annular tubes; a corrugator configured to form the concentric annular tubes into a dual-wall pipe having a smooth wall and a corrugated wall; a cross-head die configured to extrude an outer wall of pipe onto the corrugated wall of the dual-wall pipe; a vacuum punch configured to penetrate the outer wall of pipe and draw a vacuum between the corrugated wall and the outer wall, such that the outer wall of pipe deforms inward toward the corrugated wall of pipe between bell and spigot portions of the corrugated wall; and a cutter configured to cut the pipe into sections where the vacuum punch deformed the outer wall between the bell and spigot portions of the corrugated wall. A method of manufacturing multi-wall corrugated polymer pipe is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2010Date of Patent: November 12, 2013Assignee: Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc.Inventors: Gerald S. Publication number: 20100089074Abstract: A method of cooling an outer wall of polymer pipe is provided. The method includes extruding a layer of polymer onto a pipe to form an outer wall of pipe; conveying the pipe including the outer wall of pipe through an inner aperture of an annular air-cooler having an annular air manifold; and blowing pressurized air, at a temperature lower than a temperature of the outer wall of pipe, through the annular air manifold such that it contacts the outer wall of pipe and cools the outer wall of pipe at a rate that is a function of a pressure of the pressurized air and a difference between the temperature of the pressurized air and the temperature of the outer wall of pipe. An apparatus for cooling an outer wall of polymer pipe is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 14, 2008Publication date: April 15, 2010Inventors: Gerald S. Sutton, David J. Kelley

Patent number: 5564583Abstract: A portable carrier for a beverage container has a base member with an open top and closed bottom, the open top communicating with a cavity defined by an upper portion of selected cross-sectional dimension and a lower portion of reduced cross-sectional dimension providing an internal ledge, the base member having external integral opposed boss portions having openings therethrough. A cover member has a closed top and open bottom with a cavity therein communicating with the open bottom, the cover member telescopically mating with the base member when in the closed position, the cover member having integral external opposed boss portions with openings. A cord extends through the openings in the boss portions of the cover member and the base member with knots at the ends thereof so that thereby the cord serves the dual function of providing means for carrying the portable carrier as well as preventing inadvertent misplacement of the cover member.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 1995Date of Patent: October 15, 1996Inventors: David J.
