    Abstract: An automotive racing oil and method of making same, the automotive racing oil comprising base oil comprising polyalphaolefin and racing oil components effective to produce automotive racing oil properties comprising a kinematic viscosity of from about 3.2 centistokes (cSt) to about 25 cSt at 100° C. and a coefficient of friction of about 0.065 or less at 180° C., the automotive racing oil having a molybdenum concentration of more than 360 ppm and a zinc concentration of about 1400 ppm or more, both as measured by X-ray fluorescence, and a quantity of a combination of esters maintaining the racing oil components in solution in the base oil, the combination of esters comprising one or more multiester(s) and one or more polyol monoester(s).
