    Abstract: A color ink jet ink set for color printing; comprising(a) a first ink comprises a carrier and a bridged aluminum phthalocyanine pigment as a cyan colorant;(b) a second ink comprising a carrier and a quinacridone pigment as a magenta colorant;(c) a third ink comprising a carrier and a non-benzidine yellow pigment as a yellow colorant; and(d) at least one additional ink comprising a carrier and a colorant which is:(i) an orange colorant comprising a Naphthol AS, .beta.-Naphthol, diketopyrrolo-pyrrole or a disazopyrazolone pigment;(ii) a green colorant comprising a copper phthalocyanine green or a triarylcarbonium pigment; or(iii) a violet colorant comprising a quinacridone, triarylcarbonium, benzimidazolone, or a dioxazine pigment.
