  • Patent number: 11323362
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to improving resilience to single event upsets (“SEUs”) in a software-defined network (“SDN”). In one embodiment, a system may include a communications interface to receive and transmit a data packet. A primary data flow repository may store a plurality of communication flows to be used to route the data packet. A secondary data flow repository may store a subset of communication flows to be used to route a data packet. A system may search the plurality of communication flows in the primary data flow repository based on a criteria associated with the data packet. If no communication flow satisfies the criteria, a secondary data flow repository may be searched. The data packet may be routed according to a communication flow in the secondary data flow repository. The communication flow from the secondary data flow repository may be duplicated in the primary data flow repository.

  • Patent number: 10618674
Abstract: A portable, lightweight, sturdy and compact aircraft cover that is suspended above the aircraft to provide protection from the damaging effects of the sun and other elements is described. The compact and lightweight aircraft cover is capable, when not deployed, to be carried within the cargo area of the airplane while the aircraft is in operation, and then deployed once the aircraft arrives at its destination. The aircraft cover is very lightweight while at the same time very strong, to allow for the cover to be carried inside the airplane while not adversely impacting the airplane's ability to carry additional fuel or additional passengers and baggage. Furthermore, the cover is designed to be quickly and easily deployed over an aircraft with minimal amount of user effort.

  • Patent number: 7059427
Abstract: An automatic drilling system is disclosed which includes an electric servo motor operatively coupled to a winch brake control, a servo controller operatively coupled to the servo motor, and a drum position encoder rotationally coupled to a winch drum. The controller is adapted to operate the servo motor in response to measurements of position made by the encoder so that a selected rate of rotation of the drum is maintained.
