  • Patent number: 11971845
Abstract: An encapsulation block for a digital signal processing (DSP) block. The encapsulation block includes DSP block having an input terminal, an output terminal, and an input clock. The encapsulation block also includes pacing control network operatively connected with the input terminal, the output terminal, and the input clock of the DSP block. The input terminal of the DSP block is configured to receive a samples-in data stream inputted at a predefined clock period defined by the input clock. The output terminal of the DSP block is configured to receive a samples-out data stream outputted at a predefined paced parameter. The pacing control network is configured to control data flow at the samples-in data stream and the samples-out data stream independently of the DSP block.

  • Publication number: 20240116003
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to filtration devices having spiral wound filtration element. In an embodiment, a filtration device is included having a first spiral wound filter element. The first spiral wound filter element can include one or more spacing layers, one or more membrane layers disposed in between the one or more spacing layers, and a plurality of spacing elements. The first spiral wound filter element can have an aspect ratio that is less than 8:1 height to width. Other embodiments are also included herein.

  • Patent number: 8065367
Abstract: A system that schedules requests and receives scheduling requests from multiple users. The system receives a given scheduling request from a portable device associated with a given user, such that the given scheduling request is associated with a question to be asked by the given user. Next, the system queues the scheduling requests and selectively couples the given user to a communication channel, which allows the given user to ask the question.

  • Publication number: 20090175699
Abstract: A cargo restraint apparatus comprising, multiple radially extending flexible straps each slidably attached at its proximal end to a common central flexible loop. The distal end of each strap is provided with a connector for attachment of the distal strap end to a cleat or loop on a pallet or other surface on which the cargo is to be secured. An adjustable buckle or similar cinching device is disposed on each strap to adjust its length to create a tension force in the strap which will be opposed by tension forces in one or more straps on the opposing sides of the central loop.

  • Publication number: 20080022375
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that communicates through a cell phone to facilitate authentication of a user of a computer system. During operation, the system receives an identifier for a user which is entered into a computer system. The system uses this identifier to lookup a cell phone number for the user, and also generates a challenge-code to for the user. The system then uses the cell phone number to communicate the challenge-code to the user through the cell phone, thereby enabling the user to enter the challenge-code into the computer system. Next, the system receives the challenge-code entered into the computer system. The system compares the entered challenge-code with the challenge-code communicated to the user. If they match, the system authenticates the user.

  • Patent number: 7214014
Abstract: A cargo restraint system comprising, a tie-down assembly of restraining tie-down arms having interconnected common proximal extremities and a plurality of distal extremities, the tie-down assembly arranged to form an angle between each arm, the vertex of the angle being congruent with the common proximal extremities, with a first fastener secured to the arms at the vertex of the angle and a second fastener secured to each of the distal extremities of the arms. Preferably, each of the arms carries a third fastener or connecting eye intermediate the first and second fasteners.
