  • Patent number: 11914537
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for managing the connection assignments of a plurality of accessory devices to one or more hub devices. In one example, a user device acting as a leader device receives an assignment request from an accessory device. The user device may obtain information corresponding to hub attributes from the one or more hub devices. The user device may also obtain accessory traits from the accessory device. The user device can compare the accessory traits with the hub attributes to determine a connection score for each hub device. The user device can then assign the accessory device to the hub device with the highest connection score.

  • Publication number: 20030183683
Abstract: Sample specimens such as biological samples are collected from the donor at a collection site and transferred to a transport container which includes RFID medium for carrying the chain of custody information generated at the collection site. The electronic signature of the donor and/or collector is captured to verify the chain of custody information and is included in the RFID medium record. Tamper-evident medium is used to insure the integrity of the sample specimen. The RFID medium may be separated from the container and recycled for subsequent use.

  • Patent number: 4839601
Abstract: An electrical detection system for locating a position of interest in a medium which is electrically conductive includes a signal generator, a source, a sink and at least two probes. The probes are disposed in the medium equidistantly spaced from either the sink or the source. A signal generated by the generator flow from the sink and to the source and will also flow to the probes. The probes are connected to input terminals of a comparator to thereby compare the signal strengths at the probes. The probes are movable to different positions in the medium to determine a cross-over position such that, at the cross-over position, the perpendicular bi-sector of the line joining the probes indicates the point of interest by pointing in the general direction thereof.

  • Patent number: 4561426
Abstract: An electromagnetic device for modifying any of the growth, repair or maintenance processes in a predetermined local area of a living body by utilizing a signal having a symmetric waveform to excite a coil and thereby induce a magnetic field and at the same time manually or mechanically manipulating the coil so as to cause time variations in the spatial-orientation of the induced magnetic field with respect to the local area.
