  • Publication number: 20240098617
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and apparatuses for determining an optimal path in a mesh network. A pre-emptive message, such as a request to send (RTS) message, carrying, for example, an address of a target mobile device, may be sent from an access point to a computing device in a mesh network. The computing device may relay the RTS to the target mobile device. A clear to send (CTS) message and transmission parameters indicating channel conditions may be transmitted from the target mobile device to the access point via the computing device. The access point may determine an optimal path based on the transmission parameters and send data via the optimal path.

  • Publication number: 20240048442
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed including a mobile device configured for initiating a communication session with a transceiver interface of a node that comprises a network interface. The node may be queried via the communication session for a status report associated with an error, and an instruction may be communicated to the node via the communication session instructing the node to perform an operation. Communication may be established with the wireless access point via the wireless network after communication of the instruction. The transceiver interface may be configured to communicate via a second network to address issues in the wide area network.

  • Publication number: 20230136258
Abstract: Wireless extension of a wired network through the use of strand-mounted access nodes. In some aspects, private network addresses may be assigned to wireless devices, and corresponding data traffic may be routed to a centralized management/provisioning platform for further network access.

  • Publication number: 20120271690
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for facilitating the redemption of affinity reward points as contributions are disclosed. In an aspect, “points” or “miles” created through various existing affinity programs prevalent in the credit card and airline industries can be redeemed as (nonprofit) donations. Typically, such reward, award or bonus “points” or “miles” have been redeemed for free or discounted rewards such as airline tickets, hotel room stays, restaurant vouchers or other goods and services. However, millions of vested affinity points or miles are left unused (i.e., unredeemed). The present invention allows a consumer who holds such points or miles to link to a nonprofit organization allowing excess points to be converted into cash donations to such organizations.

  • Patent number: 8239258
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for facilitating the redemption of affinity reward points as political contributions are disclosed. In an aspect, “points” or “miles” created through various existing affinity programs prevalent in the credit card and airline industries can be redeemed as political donations. Typically, such reward, award or bonus “points” or “miles” have been redeemed for free or discounted rewards such as airline tickets, hotel room stays, restaurant vouchers or other goods and services. However, millions of vested affinity points or miles are left unused (i.e., unredeemed). The present invention allows a consumer who holds such points or miles to link to a political campaign, political party or political action committee allowing excess points to be converted into cash donations to such political campaigns, political parties or political action committees.

  • Publication number: 20030149924
Abstract: A scan-cell for use in a scan device of the type which is utilized to test integrated circuits comprises a first multiplexer, a switching device, and a second multiplexer. The first multiplexer provides a data signal on the output thereof when a control signal is in a first state and provides a test signal at the output thereof when the control signal is in a second state. The switching device is coupled to the output of the first multiplexer and captures the output. The second multiplexer has an input coupled to the output of the switching device and transmits the output when the control signal is in the first state. The second multiplexer transmits an inverted form of the output when the control signal is in the second state.

  • Patent number: 5561286
Abstract: A photomultiplier tube saturation indicator is formed by supplying a supplemental light source, typically an light emitting diode (LED), adjacent to the photomultiplier tube. A switch allows the light source to be activated. The light is forwarded to the photomultiplier tube by an optical fiber. If the probe is properly light tight, then a meter attached to the indicator will register the light from the LED. If the probe is no longer light tight, and the saturation indicator is saturated, no signal will be registered when the LED is activated.
