  • Patent number: 11971879
Abstract: A method for combining multiple interactions into a single record entry is disclosed. A data package can be created that represents a set of interactions, and each entity associated with an interaction can review the data package. Each entity can indicate agreement with the interactions by digitally signing the data package. Once signed by each involved entity, the data package can be stored in a record such as a blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11969541
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for detecting full waste canister and/or fluid flow path blockage conditions are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods and apparatuses for controlling a pump. In some embodiments, flow of fluid can be restricted in a portion of the fluid flow path. A controller can be configured to compare a difference in pressure values upstream and downstream of a fluid flow restrictor to a pressure difference threshold, and determine based on the comparison whether to activate an alarm indicating the full waste canister condition or the fluid flow path blockage condition. The controller can be additionally or alternatively configured to determine a fluid flow using a flow meter, open a selectable valve in response to a comparison of the fluid flow with a fluid flow threshold, determine fluid flow after opening the valve, and determine based on the fluid flow after opening the valve whether to activate the alarm.

  • Publication number: 20240097904
Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for virtualization of non-fungible tokens. The present invention is configured to receive, via a first user input device, a resource transfer request using a virtual token from a first user, wherein the virtual token is electronically linked to an NFT of a resource transfer instrument; retrieve the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument in response to receiving the resource transfer request; retrieve an NFT credential descriptor for the resource transfer request from a first metadata layer of the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; receive an authentication credential from the first user; determine whether the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor that is electronically linked to the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; and authorize the resource transfer request based on at least determining that the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor.

  • Publication number: 20240094827
Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for robust radar-based gesture-recognition. A radar system detects radar-based gestures on behalf of application subscribers. A state machine transitions between multiple states based on inertial sensor data. A no-gating state enables the radar system to output radar-based gestures to application subscribers. The state machine also includes a soft-gating state that prevents the radar system from outputting the radar-based gestures to the application subscribers. A hard-gating state prevents the radar system from detecting radar-based gestures altogether. The techniques and systems enable the radar system to determine when not to perform gesture-recognition, enabling user equipment to automatically reconfigure the radar system to meet user demand. By so doing, the techniques conserve power, improve accuracy, or reduce latency relative to many common techniques and systems for radar-based gesture-recognition.

  • Patent number: 11936035
Abstract: Core-shell particles, composite anode material, anodes made therefrom, lithium ion cells and methods are provided, which enable production of fast charging lithium ion batteries. The composite anode material has core-shell particles which are configured to receive and release lithium ions at their cores and to have shells that are configured to allow for core expansion upon lithiation. The cores of the core-shell particles are connected to the respective shells by conductive material such as carbon fibers, which may form a network throughout the anode material and possibly interconnect cores of many core-shell particles to enhance the electrical conductivity of the anode. Ionic conductive material and possibly mechanical elements may be incorporated in the core-shell particles to enhance ionic conductivity and mechanical robustness toward expansion and contraction of the cores during lithiation and de-lithiation.

  • Publication number: 20230253007
Abstract: A system for detecting snoring. The system includes a first microphone to convert a first sound into a first signal, a second microphone to convert a second sound into a second signal, and a processor. The processor generates a third signal from the first and second signals that is representative of the first sound arriving at the first microphone and the second sound arriving at the second microphone to select first and second portions of the third signal, and to derive a metric from the second portion of the third signal. The first portion corresponds to the first sound arriving at the first microphone and the second sound arriving at the second microphone. The second portion contains only components of the first portion that have a frequency within a frequency range of interest. The metric indicates if the first portion of the third signal includes a component consistent with snoring.
