  • Publication number: 20260154795
Abstract: A method includes providing an input image to a diffusion model that is trained with image pairs that each include an overexposed image paired with a corresponding ground truth image, wherein one or more portions of the input image include overexposed pixels. The method further includes outputting, with the diffusion model, an intermediate image that includes corrected pixels that correspond to the one or more portions of the input image that include the overexposed pixels. The method further includes determining merge weights based on a brightness of pixels in the input image. The method further includes merging the intermediate image with the input image to generate an output image based on the merge weights. The method further includes performing tone mapping of the merged image.

  • Publication number: 20260051089
Abstract: A media application provides, as input to a diffusion model, an initial image and a request to change a lighting in the initial image, wherein the initial image includes a subject and a sky. The media application outputs, with the diffusion model, an output image that satisfies the request. The media application determines, from the initial image, a sky segment and a subject segment. The media application generates a sky mask that corresponds to the sky segment and a subject mask that corresponds to the subject segment. The media application modifies a coloring of the initial image to match a coloring of the output image. The media application blends the modified initial image with the output image to form a blended image while using the subject mask to prevent modification to the subject from the modified initial image and the sky mask to prevent modification to the sky from the output image during the blending.

  • Publication number: 20260010974
Abstract: A media application receives user input that indicates one or more objects to be erased from a media item. The media application translates the user input to a bounding box. The media application provides a crop of the media item based on the bounding box to a segmentation machine-learning model. The segmentation machine-learning model outputs a segmentation mask for one or more segmented objects in the crop of the media item and a corresponding segmentation score that indicates a quality of the segmentation mask.

  • Patent number: 12417521
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein may relate to potential methods of training a machine learning model to be implemented on a mobile computing device configured to capture, adjust, and/or store image frames. An example method includes supplying a first image frame of a subject in a setting lit within a first lighting environment and supplying a second image frame of the subject lit within a second lighting environment. The method further includes determining a mask. Additionally, the method includes combining the first image frame and the second image frame according to the mask to generate a synthetic image and assigning a score to the synthetic image. The method also includes training a machine learning model based on the assigned score to adjust a captured image based on the synthetic image.

  • Publication number: 20250053724
Abstract: A method and system for dynamically customizing a webpage layout according to webpage transition history of a user are disclosed. The method includes collecting historical web session data of a plurality of users, and performing collaborative filtering using the collected historical web session data. The method further includes generating a probabilistic model and a webpage transaction path for a target user among the plurality of users. Then, the method further identifies one or more communities within the webpage transaction path, generates at least one recommendation and shortcut, and modifies a default webpage layout to include the at least one recommendation and the at least one shortcut.
