Patent number: 11949164Abstract: Register banks are used to allow for fast beam switching in a phased array system. Each beam forming channel is associated with a register bank containing M register sets for configuring such things as gain/amplitude and phase parameters of the beam forming channel. The register banks for all beam forming channels can be pre-programmed and then fast beam switching circuitry allows all beam forming channels across the array to be switched to use the same register set from its corresponding register bank at substantially the same time, thereby allowing the phased array system to be quickly switched between various beam patterns and orientations. Active power control circuitry may be used to control the amount of electrical power provided to or consumed by one or more individual beam forming channels such as to reduce DC power consumption of the array and/or to selectively change the effective directivity of the array.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2023Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: Anokiwave, Inc.Inventors: Kristian N. Patent number: 11941335Abstract: Methods and systems for providing concise data for analyzing checker completeness, in the context of formal verification analysis of circuit designs. The methods and systems concisely report information useful to a human user (e.g., circuit designer or verification engineer) for efficiently determining what manual action should be taken next to resolve holes in verification coverage. The reported information can include lists of signals on which checkers can be written, which lists can be ranked, can be limited to a subset of interest signals, and can include corresponding cover items for each reported interest signal. The present systems and methods thereby improve on reporting provided to the user, permitting the user to more quickly advance a formal verification process toward full coverage of the relevant portions of a circuit design.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Cadence Design Systems, Inc.Inventors: Amit Verma, Yumi Monma, David Spatafore, Suyash Kumar, Devank Jain

Publication number: 20240095012Abstract: Examples of the presently disclosed technology provide automated firmware recommendation systems that inject the intelligence of machine learning into the firmware recommendation process. To accomplish this, examples train a machine learning model on troves of historical customer firmware update data on a dynamic basis (e.g., examples may train the machine learning model on weekly basis to predict accepted firmware updates made by a vendor's customers across the most recent 6 months). From this dynamic training, the machine learning model can learn to predict/recommend an optimal firmware version for a customer/network device cluster based on firmware-related features, recent customer preferences, and other customer-specific factors. Once trained, examples can deploy the machine learning model to make highly tailored firmware recommendations for individual network device clusters of individual customers taking the above described factors into account.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: SARGAM JAIN, CHARLES HOGG, DAVID FEHLING, JR., BERND BANDEMER, JOSE TELLADO
