  • Publication number: 20240169438
Abstract: API-driven internet financial services systems are provided. Exemplary systems include an application web service. The application web service includes an application program interface (API) service wherein the API service includes workflow items such as at least one workflow characterized by a workflow definition, and at least one workflow task characterized by a workflow task definition. All workflows include at least one workflow tasks. The workflow items follow JSON and JSON schema, and software embodied in the workflow items, residing in the API service, can be executed to accomplish financial transaction processing without the need for marshalling said code into API-friendly formats, thus allowing a flexible, financial institution-customizable internet financial services platform. Exemplary systems may be embodied in non-transitory computer-readable storage mediums including instructions for implementing the systems.

  • Patent number: 9552237
Abstract: A system that validates an application programming interface (API) call is provided. A key and a value associated with the key are read from a test script containing a script. The key and the value are separated by a colon. The key is included in first double quotes, and the value is included in second double quotes. Whether the key matches a plurality of keys defined for an API call is determined. Based on the key matching the plurality of keys defined for the API call, the API call is configured using the key and the value without any of the colon, the first double quotes, or the second double quotes. The configured API call is executed.
