  • Publication number: 20240138064
Abstract: A method of fabricating a multilayer circuit board is provided which includes forming a layer of a the multilayer circuit board with an internal clearance region having a modified voltage-to-ground clearance of conductive material adjacent to an aperture of the multilayer circuit board. The modified voltage-to-ground clearance of conductive material is based on a configuration of a connector pin to be press-fit connected within the aperture of the multilayer circuit board, and the internal clearance region is enlarged in a direction of greatest normal force outward from the aperture with insertion of the connector pin into the aperture.

  • Patent number: 11962717
Abstract: Technology for determining a queue position of a call from a user can include receiving, at an enterprise, the call from a user device associated with the user. The user device includes an application associated with the enterprise. The call is placed into an on-hold queue. A weighted level of importance associated with the call is determined based on call history information associated with the user device and call frequency associated with the user. The weighted level of importance is compared to at least one weight threshold. A wait time for the call is decreased based on the weighted level of importance meeting or exceeding the at least one weight threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240085337
Abstract: A method of and system for detecting the concentration of a target element in a brine wherein the brine is sampled into a container and an aerosol generator is used to generate an aerosol stream of the sampled brine in the container. The aerosol stream may be directed to a collection system. A handheld LIB S device directs a laser beam to the aerosol stream at a location between the aerosol generator and the collection system to generate a plasma. The plasma is analyzed to detect intensity data for a reference element based on the generated plasma and to detect the intensity data of a target element based on the generated plasma. The concentration of the target element in the brine is calculated based on the reference element intensity data and the target element intensity data.

  • Publication number: 20230010043
Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for operating a plurality of power amplifiers. A predistortion circuit may pre-distort an input signal according to a predistortion configuration to generate a pre-distorted signal for the plurality of power amplifiers. An adaption circuit may receive a first feedback signal from a first power amplifier of the plurality of power amplifiers and generate predistortion correlation data describing a correlation between parameters of a model describing the plurality of power amplifiers. The adaption circuit may receive a first feedback signal from a second power amplifier of the plurality of power amplifiers and update the predistortion correlation data to generate updated predistortion correlation data using the first feedback signal from the second power amplifier. The adaption circuit may also generate the predistortion configuration using the updated predistortion correlation data.

  • Patent number: 11345052
Abstract: An extensible mast device allows a payload to be supported at a controllable distance from a supporting device. A motor driving a flexible strip provides a force through the flexible strip to extend the mast. The extended strip may have a curved cross section that provides some rigidity. A set of telescoping sections may enclose the strip. One or more of the sections may be flexible. In the event of an impact between the extensible mast and an object, such as a user, the flexible section and the strip yield to the impact and collapse. The extensible mast may be easily reset by lifting it back to a vertical position, with the flexible strip reasserting the curved cross section and the flexible sections resuming substantially the same shape as before the impact. A robot may use the extensible mast to elevate cameras or other sensors to a higher vantage point.

  • Patent number: 11271598
Abstract: An apparatus that implements DPD in a manner that can address OOB instability issues, PE instability issues, or both, is disclosed. The apparatus includes an actuator circuit configured to use a model of a power amplifier (PA) to apply a predistortion to at least a portion of an input signal, and an error correction circuit configured to generate an error signal indicative of a deviation of the output of the actuator circuit from the target output, e.g., in terms of OOB or PE. The apparatus also includes an adaptation circuit configured to update the model based on the error signal. By using such an error in adapting the model used for the DPD, undesirable effects of performing DPD, such as creation or amplification of OOB frequency components, or increasing amplitude of some samples, may be reduced or eliminated.
