  • Patent number: 11074328
Abstract: An authentication passphrase is analyzed to identify a first set of parts of speech in the passphrase. Based on comparing the first set with a second set of parts of speech corresponding to a stored passphrase, it is determined that the first set and the second set have less than a threshold number of common elements. In response to the determining, the passphrase is analyzed to score a level of a previously-set emotional tone in the passphrase. Access to a protected resource is allowed in response to the score being above a threshold.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 27, 2021
    Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION

  • Publication number: 20190159449
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of non-proline cyclic amino acids of general formula (I), wherein n, X, Y and Z have the meaning indicated in the description, to increase the tolerance of plants to conditions of osmotic stress, resulting from a lack of water in the environment. Non-proline amino acids used in the invention are of natural origin and are much more effective than other known amino acids used for the same purpose. This invention can therefore be considered very useful for preventing economic losses caused by a reduction in yield in agricultural crops.

  • Patent number: 10040397
Abstract: A split center console assembly includes a front end wall, a rear end wall, and first and second opposing side walls, each cooperating to define a storage compartment. The assembly includes a split cover for selectively providing access to the storage compartment. The split cover includes a pivoting driver armrest and a pivoting passenger armrest. Each armrest includes an upper support surface configured to provide arm support when the split center console assembly is in a closed position, a side edge support surface configured to provide an arm support when the split center console assembly is in an open position, and a lower surface. At least one pivot hinge is provided, defining an arm portion extending a distance from a pivot axis and configured to pivotally couple the respective armrest to the storage compartment. In various aspects, each pivot axis is offset a distance from the side walls.

  • Publication number: 20150161651
Abstract: An interactive advertising service may be provided using a software conversation agent configured to promote products and/or services via a trained classifier and a hierarchy of concepts related to the products and/or services. Upon request, an interactive advertisement is provided for display to a remote user via a third-party content page, the advertisement including a first creative asset and a linguistic communication control. A world state is obtained and updated during a conversational interaction with the remote user. When free-form linguistic input is received from the remote user, the input is classified and the world state updated. When the world state matches a product and/or service, the interactive advertisement is updated to display a second creative asset corresponding to the matching product and/or service.
