    Abstract: A golf club head has two metal outer ends to and a mid-section composed of multiple side-by-side, polymeric laminations (14) directed substantially transversely to the club face (4). In one version the threaded rod (12) joins the ends compressing the laminations. The laminations allow bands of color or opacity to create a distinctive appearance. In another version the laminations are replaced by a moulded block of polymer (24).
