Publication number: 20260178437Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer system includes an error manager configured to obtain a first error indication corresponding to a first error associated with a computing device, the first error indication comprising a first error reference code associated with the first error, assign the first error to a first problem analysis window, obtain a second error indication corresponding to a second error associated with the computing device, the second error indication comprising a second error reference code, different from the first error reference code, associated with the second error, assign, based on the second error reference code satisfying an error classification condition, the second error to a second problem analysis window, and perform an error mitigation operation associated with at least one of the first problem analysis window or the second problem analysis window.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2024Publication date: June 25, 2026Inventors: David Michael WALTERS, Stephanie Carys SHUM, David JUN, Patrick John CLAS

Publication number: 20260169845Abstract: A component may obtain current error data during a current analysis time window. The current error data may include current error codes indicating an error associated with a computing device. The component may determine measures of similarity between the current error data of the current analysis time window and historical error data of historical analysis time window. The historical error data may include historical error codes. The component may determine a measure of similarity, associated with a historical analysis time window of the historical analysis time windows, that satisfies a value threshold; and predict, based on the historical analysis time window, whether an additional error code is expected to be provided during the current analysis time window. The component may obtain debugging data based on predicting whether the additional error code is expected to be provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2024Publication date: June 18, 2026Inventors: David Michael WALTERS, Stephanie Carys SHUM, Patrick John CLAS, David JUN

Patent number: 10632393Abstract: A mobile device (e.g., wireless wheeled vehicle) that includes one or more propulsion mechanisms (e.g., one or more drive wheels) and a member (e.g., a mechanized tail). The propulsion mechanism(s) are operable to propel the mobile device across a driving surface. The member is positionable to maintain or change an orientation of the mobile device with respect to the driving surface. The member has a base portion opposite a free end portion. The base portion is pivotably mounted to a portion of the mobile device. The base portion is pivotable to move the free end portion toward and away from the driving surface.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2018Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Petronics Inc.Inventors: David Jun, Michael Friedman, David Cohen, Dario Aranguiz, Russell Jones

Publication number: 20190000041Abstract: A mobile device comprises a platform, a motion drive, and a spatial profiling device. The motion drive is configured to propel the platform according to navigation instructions. The spatial profiling device is configured to capture a spatial profile of a motion area. A spatial profile is received from the spatial profiling device. A mobile object is located employing the spatial profile. A movement is planned for the mobile device between a first location and a second location in the motion area. The movement is configured to avoid the mobile object. The movement is communicated as navigation instructions to the motion drive.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 23, 2018Publication date: January 3, 2019Applicant: Petronics Inc.Inventors: David Cohen, Michael Friedman, David Jun

Patent number: 10051839Abstract: A system comprises a mobile device, a spatial profiling device, and a mobile device manager. The mobile device comprises a platform, a first communications circuit that receives navigation instructions, and a motion drive that propels the platform according to the navigation instructions. The spatial profiling device captures a spatial profile of a motion area. The mobile device manager comprises at least one second communications circuit that communicates with the first communications circuit and the spatial profiling device, processor(s), and memory storing processing instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause the mobile device manager to receive spatial profiles, locate the mobile object, locate the mobile device, plan a movement for the mobile device which avoids the mobile object, and communicate the movement to the mobile device as navigation instructions.Type: GrantFiled: January 13, 2017Date of Patent: August 21, 2018Assignee: Petronics Inc.Inventors: David Jun, Michael Friedman, David Cohen

Publication number: 20050001220Abstract: A low input power consumption, compact thermal field emitter is suitable for use in electron beam systems, particularly those systems that use an array of electron beams or a miniature electron beam system. The thermal field emitter design reduces heat loss by reducing heat transfer to the base. To achieve reduced loses the design incorporates the use of high electrical resistivity, low thermal conductivity materials for construction of the filament posts and the filaments. Such materials further reduce heat loss and reduce input current requirements. In one embodiment, the base includes counterbores that reduce the heat conduction path between the filament posts and the base, and moves the contact area further from the filament.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 2, 2004Publication date: January 6, 2005Applicant: FEI CompanyInventors: Gerald Magera, Gregory Schwind, James McGinn, David Jun
