Abstract: A toilet trip lever assembly provides a lever arm that extends in the tank perpendicular to the tank wall. As an outer handle is rotated, it drives a stem, which in turn drives an arm inside the tank that extends parallel to the tank wall, which pushes down an end of a lever. A support holds the lever such that downward movement of that end of the lever drives the opposite end of the lever up. The opposite end of the lever is connected to a linkage to a flush valve.

Abstract: A flapper valve assembly for regulating the passage of water from a toilet tank is provided with a structure to reduce overflow risk. There is a yoke pivotally disposed in the tank and supporting a flapper seal that can be seated on and unseated from the flush opening. A flapper arm has a first segment coupled to the yoke along a pivot axis and a second segment extending away from the pivot axis toward the flapper seal. The flapper arm is configured such that it delays seating of the flapper seal when the water in the tank is above a predetermined level and assists seating of the flapper seal when the water is below a designated level.

A movable valve element which is cup-shaped is positioned in a valve body and with the base thereof to the inlet side of a stationary valve element. Rotation of the movable valve element is effected from the front of the valve housing which directs different flow paths to a nozzle portion. Two or more of the body spray nozzles are interconnected with linkage members for oscillation by an oscillating source.
