  • Patent number: 7904876
Abstract: The present invention provides a graphical model that can be viewed without a graphical modeling environment. An interactive graphic version of the model is generated from the model of the graphical modeling environment. The interactive graphic version can then be viewed using an interactive graphic viewer, such as a plug in to a web browser. The use of an interactive graphic version of the model allows the user to interact with the model. For example the user may pan, zoom, or view properties or subsystems of elements of the model.

  • Patent number: 7610578
Abstract: Methods are provided to automatically generate, distribute and execute code locally and remotely. The test may therefore be performed using the automatically distributed code. Automated parameter mapping may be provided to couple parameters applicable to a test step with the test step. A test step in the test may therefore automatically include the coupled parameters. Data storage may be performed using a multidimensional parametric space. Each point in space may contain arbitrary nonscalar data which define an individual data workspace. These points can also be plotted against each other and overlayed to aid in visualization of multi-dimensional data.

  • Patent number: 7605814
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for viewing data from a data set. The data set can be a multiple dimensional data set having a tabbed like structure or alternatively having a grid like structure with no points spaced apart in at least two dimensions. The method and apparatus provide a user interface and a viewer tool that allows a user to select desired data from the data set and select desired plot types for viewing the selected data. The method and apparatus can select and view data from the data set that has one or more arbitrary dimensions.

  • Patent number: 7542888
Abstract: A method and apparatus, including a computer program apparatus, implementing techniques for generating a report from a technical computing environment provided by a mathematical computer program. A report generator defines a set of reporting components that can be assembled to form a report template and processes the reporting components of the report template in order to extract data from the mathematical computing environment and generate the report. The report generator includes a user interface by which a designer can hierarchically assemble the reporting elements, which are defined according to an object-oriented programming language. The report generator bi-directionally communicates with the mathematical computing environment such that the report generator can evaluate expressions defined within the mathematical computing environment, change initial conditions and parameters of a mathematical model, and issue commands to advance the state of the model.
