    Abstract: A device includes a network interface and a processor configured to generate a first request for a network bandwidth including a first data transfer rate, receive a first reply whether the first data transfer rate is available for transfer of data from the device to a second device, transfer the data via the network interface from the device to the second device when the first data transfer rate is available, and generate a second request for a network bandwidth when the first data transfer rate is unavailable. The second request includes at least a second data transfer rate. The processor transfers the data via the network interface from the device to the second device when the second data transfer rate is available.
