    Abstract: An accountability provider configured to receive transparency data from an accountable entity is described herein. At least a part of the transparency data refers to a transaction associated with a transaction participant of the accountable entity. The accountability provider is further configured to enable the transaction participant to certify the transaction and, responsive to certifying the transaction, lock the transaction to inhibit individuals associated with the accountable entity from modifying the at least the part of the transparency data.
