  • Patent number: 11473455
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a control valve for a hydraulic camshaft phaser. The control valve includes a screw body having a cavity, a plurality of connections opening into the cavity, and a sleeve-shaped hydraulic guide element firmly inserted radially inside the cavity. At least part of the hydraulic guide element consists of plastic. The hydraulic guide element includes a plurality of pressure medium channels which open into its radial interior, each of which is connected to at least one of the connections. A control piston is displaceably accommodated in the hydraulic guide element, and, depending on the position of the control piston, connects the connections to each other. A sealing contour provided on a radial outer side of the hydraulic guide element contacts the screw body, sealing the pressure medium channels with respect to each other and/or with respect to axial ends of the hydraulic guide element.

  • Patent number: 11220188
Abstract: A motor vehicle charging cable for DC voltage charging of an electrical energy store of a motor vehicle has a cable sheath that encloses conductors, such as first and second cooling-fluid-cooled electrical conductor for first and second DC voltage phases, a ground conductor or equipotential bonding conductor and/or at least one control conductor. Shaped elements are arranged between the cable sheath and the conductors at positions of the motor vehicle charging cable that are fixed in mounts. The shaped elements guide, clamp and restrict a relative movement between the conductors. The cable sheath restricts a relative movement between the conductors between those positions at which the motor vehicle charging cable is fixed in mounts.

  • Publication number: 20190353061
Abstract: A control valve for a camshaft adjuster for an engine is provided. The control valve includes a valve sleeve having one or more inlet openings, two supply openings, and an outlet opening, and a control piston guided in the valve sleeve. The piston, together with the valve sleeve and control edges arranged on the control piston, form three annular ducts. A fluid-conducting connection between an inlet opening and a supply opening can be controlled via a first annular channel. A fluid-conducting connection between the inlet opening and another supply opening can be controlled via a second annular channel. The first annular channel and the second annular channels may enclose a central annular channel, via which a fluid-conducting connection between the supply opening and the outlet opening, as well as between the another supply opening and the outlet opening, can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 9976656
Abstract: A control valve for a camshaft adjuster is provided. The control valve contains a hollow cylindrical control piston, which has radially arranged piston openings on a piston head of the control piston, which piston head has a reduced diameter in comparison with the adjacent segment. Pressure medium flows along the outer cylindrical surface of the control piston, reaches into the piston openings, and causes a flow force that depends on the relative position of the control piston in the circumferential direction. For the purpose of weakening this dependence, the piston openings and sleeve openings are distributed over the circumference, wherein the angle between the axes of the piston openings differs from the angle between the axes of the sleeve openings and wherein the same angle range covered by the piston openings and sleeve openings at the same time, in dependence on the position of the control piston in relation to the control sleeve, remains approximately the same.
